Everything good but I believe a service station should sell jumper leads.

Really the forecourt and store parts are too small and don't have enough point-of-sale tills to get people in and out quicker, and to be frank as a former resident of the town I've found a lot of the general public who frequent it to be rather rude.I feel bad for the staff: about half of them really do try, but until the recent COVID-19 scare the place is just horrendously busy for the size of it. Especially when inconsiderate people decide it's a smart idea to buy, say, £100 worth of M&S food while leaving their car at the pump, blocking it, and also taking up the time of someone serving on the tills and causing huge queues, especially in rush hour, rather than having the decency to drive to Chichester and use the full-sized M&S there. I think the lack of pay at pump, to entice people into the store to buy horrendously marked up M&S goods (£4.50 for a small bag of mango slices, for example) makes things worse too, and the BP app doesn't work too well either.I believe it's a combination of a site that's too small for the footfall, rude residents and about 50% staff who don't put any effort in, which makes for an unpleasant environment.

Lots of pumps but its a shame there is no pay at pump option. Shop is an M@S which is small but fully stocked. Easy to walk round and socially distance if everybody follows the rules.

They were very helpful!!, my car broke down on their forecourt after getting some food, it wouldnâ??t start and I had to wait 4 hours to be picked up by a recovery vehicle, all that time I was in the garage they sat me down, gave me a coffee, some jelly babies and kept me very good company!, thank you very much to the two ladies, (canâ??t remember their names now)
It was about 2 months ago.

Needed petrol early and website said they would be open at 6:00 am. They weren't --- would have to wait until 6:30. Went down the street to the Midhurst Esso station who earns 5 stars.

Absolutely fuming!!!!! Was in your forecourt checking my oil levels etc under my bonnet and that silly little boy you've just employed comes out moaning saying I have to be off the forecourt by 11pm so I said yep that's fine and then just as I'm about to get into my car he comes out again saying "cmon time to go now" to which I said "yeah Alright mate you don't have to keep moaning at me about it" he then got very defensive and started saying things like "I'll call the police" and "I'll drag your car off the forecourt myself in a minute"! Rude little boy!
I also have another complaint about the same person!! There was a used scratch card on the counter as I was paying which I picked up and said jokingly "oh I wonder if it's a winner" he then snatched it from my hand and said "oh I'll check that for myself later" so agin I said jokingly "well is it a winner, I found it" he replied with "oh well I can't give it to you anyway, it's against our rules"
Ok? So it's fine for him to take it and have it if it's a winner but not me?
Why are the Midhurst petrol stations full of such idiots?
