As a Google Local Guide, I?ve left my fair share of reviews ? good and bad ? but this one stands out for all the wrong reasons.
The management here is shockingly inexperienced and clearly unfit to run a professional operation. Rather than taking ownership of issues, they resort to dishonesty, manipulation, and outright bullying ? both toward customers and, from what I observed, even their own staff.
Communication is poor, accountability is non-existent, and any attempt to resolve problems is met with hostility or deflection. It?s a toxic culture from the top down, and it reflects in the overall customer experience.
This is not just a case of bad service ? it's a complete failure of leadership and professionalism. There are far better tool hire and builders merchants out there that actually care about their reputation and treat people with respect.
Strongly recommend avoiding this place entirely.

Great products, Lovely staff especially Rachel shes lovely and really on the ball to new customers and other traders plus you can have a overall laugh with all the staff.

Son a builder sent a relative in to collect an order. The man in the yard was useless condescending and so unhelpful. She had to get him to unload the order in the end as he wouldn't help her.

All the staff here are great with the exception of one of the yard boys (the one with the shades and planet of the apes haircut). Whilst I was in the yard for 5 minutes he was deliberately unhelpful to me and I then saw him being rude to two other customers. It's a real shame as one bad apple can ruin a businesses good reputation that all the other staff have worked hard to forge.
Luckily one of the other boys in the yard sorted me out and was great. The bad staff member needs at the very least a strong word in his ear.

One of ,if not the first , timber supplier to sell substantial timber. I've never had a problem with Travis in the 20 + years I've been using them .

I needed a 6 ft DJ,but the only one they had was clearly just 5' 7.The staff were excellent,friendly and helpful

Daylight robbery if your half asleep luckily I wasn't! Prices on some materials ridiculous!£290 = brush + 1 x 20kg water tight solution£230 = brush + x4 5kg water tight solution!Quick math's! I saved myself £60.(Note only 2 tins in pic)
