I have happily used this place for years. The owner Tia is lovely. Yesterday however I had a terrible experience, an older lady did my brows. She was constantly sniffing it was very unpleasant she then accused me of plucking my brows as one was shorter than the other. I hadn't touched them since my last visit 4 weeks previous. She had clearly made an error and tried to blame it on me. Another lady then took over showed me my brows and asked if I wanted them matching as one was shorter than the other. Obviously I did want them matching so much more threading later I left feeling like a plucked chicken with eyebrows at least 1 cm shorter and much thinner than I like all for asking for a tidy up.I put my trust in them and now feel and look terrible.

I visited Tia Brow Bar yesterday (30/06/23) as I was looking to get my brows done for my upcoming birthday.I opted for a tint and wax, which came to £17 total. I left with uneven brows, and a colour far too dark on me. During the session, the woman doing my brows asked if she could thread them. I said no as I've only ever had bad experiences with it, but she told me she just wanted to "give them more shape," so I reluctantly agreed. I have never experienced this when getting my brows done at other salons, as they have always been able to provide a good result with waxing alone.I'm a polite person, so I paid and left. Unfortunately, I am going to have to book another appointment somewhere else to fix this. I am not happy with the result, and I would never recommend it to someone else.

I?ve had my eyebrows threaded for the last 12 years and this is the first it?s actually hurt?. Along with half an inch of eyebrow missing? one is thicker than the other and the shape has fully gone. I?m confused? it?s called tia brow bar? why have I walked out with my eyebrows looking worse..

I read the good reviews on Google and decided to give Tia's a try. I simply wanted a gel manicure. They had 3 employees working. Each was with a client, but I didn't mind waiting; so I let them know that I was hoping for a basic gel manicure and they said it will be 30 minutes. I had a seat, and was quietly playing on my phone. A staff member then approached me and told me again that it would be 30 minutes. I simply said "ok. Thank you." At which point she looked at the other employees before looking back at me and saying "Can you come back in 30 minutes?" In return I said, "I dont mind waiting" And she responded with "We are busy" and showed me the door. They did not have anyone else waiting and two sofas for waiting. I don't understand why if the wait is 30 minutes, I must leave and return. The entire experience was very unwelcoming. I will not be back.

Had a mad moment, and as I was passing, I remembered how poorly nails were, and so popped in and rather embarrassed, I asked if they could give me a basic tidying up of my nails.As a large older man, I doubt I'm their regular client, but the lovely lady on reception just welcomed me in and sat me down.She gladly took me in , and made me feel very welcome, and as a first experience, I was impressed with her attention to detail, and how much she cared about looking after my hands and nails.Came out happy and felt better about my hands and nails afterwards.Recommended to all!Service: Manicure
