Four weeks ago I bought items & paid for them at the self checkout by debit card & got a receipt. Approached after leaving the store by a staff member saying I hadn?t paid (shoplifted in other words) showed him items & my receipt, got an ok as he just walked away.
I complained that same day to their customer services & two weeks on I chased for the third time to be told Tesco do not contact customers re complaints as that?s their policy, if I want I can speak to the store manager, returned but manager not there but spoke to the team leader, to this day nothing, not even an apology.
Tesco if you want to accuse a customer in their 70s (or any age) of shoplifting then make sure you have 100% proof then do not just dismiss it when you get it wrong.
Take a look at You Tube happens more than you would think across their stores, what a disgusting business, Jacob Kohen would be appalled to see what has become of his empire.

I recently bought a bottle of wine from Tesco that had a price tag that was significantly lower than what I was charged at the register. It felt misleading and frustrating, especially when I thought I was getting a good deal. This kind of pricing inconsistency really affects the shopping experience and makes me wary of future purchases. It would be great if they could ensure their pricing is accurate and transparent. When I brought this up with a staff member, they claimed that a customer had misplaced the wrong bottle there, even though multiple bottles were clearly marked with that price.

Similar prices to big Tesco's but with different deals and substantially less variety but what with it being a convience store it serves its purpose.
