Boots, Rustington - today 4.30?ish.
I had 4 boxes to collect & hadn?t realised how very heavy 2 of them would be! My car was in the car park behind Boots & I said I?d come straight back for the 2 boxes that I couldn?t manage. SHARNA said she?d meet me at the back door with the boxes but by the time I?d reached my car SHARNA was already there with the 2 heavy boxes!

I recently visited the Rustington branch and was met with an incredibly abrupt and dismissive response when I asked if anything could be prescribed to relieve earache. The response I got was: ?No ? Next!? I would never treat a customer like that!
In their defence, I did pop in last minute. I get it ? it?s infuriating when customers show up 15 minutes before closing, but a basic ?Sorry, we?re not able to offer that? would have sufficed.
I went in as a last resort, in pain and desperate for some help, but the member of staff at the desk was so unnecessarily rude. I wasn?t demanding anything, nor did I truly expect them to be able to help (especially at that time of day), but I was met with hostility just for daring to ask.
The rest of the team are typically very good at sorting out my prescriptions, but whoever ?served? me late that afternoon needs to seriously reconsider being in a customer-facing role. Their manners were genuinely shocking.
A reminder that a little empathy goes a long way, especially in a healthcare setting.

A very big thank you to the 3 members of staff who were on duty on the afternoon of the 12th November. We were staying in an Airbnb in Rustington and my husband realised he?d left all of his medication at home. I called Boots and although it was near to closing time they were happy to help. It took us a little longer to get there than anticipated so it was past closing time by the time they had finished - we were very grateful.

Rude staff on 2 different occasions. Lady in black suit and a guy practically made me feel like a nobody. Asked for any anti sickness medication and was turnt away and told no it needs prescribing and can?t be done there. Went to a different pharmacy and got them straight away. Awful customer service and rude staff that don?t seem to want to help anyone.

Went into Boots this morning to get eye drops that had been recommend by the hospital after cateract surgery. 3 different types of the SAME make. Asked the pharmacist what was the difference between ultra etc. She held her hands up & said "I cant recommend". I explained that I just needed to know the difference. Again held her hands up & repeated herself. SO RUDE. Especially when you are told that pharmacist are there to help. She should learn that there are ways of talking to people but she was just down right rude. No wonder Boots are going downhill.

Staff are always helpful here whenever I go. Mostly I pick up online orders, my most recent trip here was to return an online order. It all went through smoothly.

Excellent customer service by Guarin, a pharmacist technician. Came all the way to me at the shop floor to ask if I needed assistance. Polite, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I also witnessed him helping a gentleman put all his shopping away by own initiative, the gentleman was a wheelchair user. Fantastic member of staff!!!!!

Id give it no stars if I could. I watched an elderly lady in front of me be questioned, looked down on and patronised by a young shop assistant and left with no help after asking for cough medicine. She was getting distressed so I asked is this a recommendation she doesn?t have it or will you not serve her? I was told not to butt in to a private conversation and ?I?m going to get the pharmacist? great news I thought! The lady thanked me for trying to help but the pharmacist unfortunately wouldn?t help her either. The customer then went over to superdrug where she was treated decently and bought her cough medicine without any trouble. I?ve experienced this before in boots rustington where they talk to elderly people especially like idiots and when someone tries to help they?re met with rude remarks and a horrible attitude. I deal with customers every day and would never dream of speaking to them this way. If you don?t like people I suggest getting a different job. Outrageous

Absolutely shambolic service. Nothing but excuses & having to go through 111 just to get an emergency prescription because the people are so incompetent. The only good thing about that place is a lovely gentleman called Guarin. Shame all staff can?t be like him. There is no need for rudeness & I feel majority of staff unfortunately are.
