Lovely staff and delicious food. We had booked online and mentioned in the comments box '2 vegan roasts please' (as we always like to give notice!) and they very kindly called to say the nut roast was not vegan but they can do the cauliflower chickpea balti pie for us. The roast was delicious. Best vegan roast we have had out in a long time. Carrots, parsnips and roast potatoes cooked perfectly.

I visited the Olive Branch to celebrate my granddaughter?s second birthday with my granddaughter, daughter, wife and 90 year old mother. All of us had the best meal for a long time. The food was delicious and carefully prepared and presented. I aways appreciate it when you can see the kitchen staff work, it shows a lot of confidence in the professionalism of the chefs and their team.
The staff could not have been more attentive and friendly during our visit. As for the landlord, my granddaughter and him developed a great rapport from the moment we sat at our table, and he was fantastic with her throughout our meal, making her feel even more special as she celebrated her birthday.
We will certainly be back soon and would 100% recommend.
Thank you all at the Olive Branch for making our special lunch an even better experience.

Stopped in a a couple of refreshing pints after wandering around town. The inside was immaculate and really quite cozy with a real fire going in the main bar area. There were a few people sitting at the bar and others eating at the tables spotted around the bar area. There is separate dining areas toward the back which look as if they could take quite a few orders. There is a considerable outside area out the front as well as a slightly more lavish one out the back. Again, lovely place for a nice couple of quiet pints. The Badger Brewery Fursty Ferret was excellent as was the Guinness.

Well done to the new owners/staff. The Sunday roasts are very good, the whole meal has improved 100%. One request, may we have something green on the plate, even peas? The roast beef is the best I have had in years. Usually it is overcooked, and tasteless. Yours is outstanding.

First time visited. The service was very good and polite. The quality of the food was exceptional and the presentation was excellent.the decor is beautiful. A very nice experience and will definitely go back again well done. ??

Nice atmosphere, just off the shopping area. Had a nice meal outside in the sun (yes it us 2024). Haven't sampled the live music but I'm told it's good and we arranging our Christmas party for here this year
