Visited this shop on Thursday with a jumper that I purchased last year.
The garment had a faulty zip.
On showing it to Julia, the manager, she immediatly exchanged it without quibble.
What Excellent Service!!!

Very bad experience in the EWM shop.\\n2 Assistants most unhelpful and miserable...obviously not enjoying their work!\\nThe worse service I have encountered in visiting this store in years. Usually excellent service throughout.\\nOne star only because of a nice more mature assistant who was very helpful and pleasant but these 2 idle miseries should take a big leaf out of her book!

I visited today for lunch - I often have a coffee here and enjoy the spaciousness and ambience of the cafe. My mistake was ordering hot food. I ordered a jacket potato with cheese and beans. When it arrived it was a bare potato with about a tablespoon of beans underneath and about a teaspoon of cheese on the side. The chef hasn?t grasped the basics of what a filled jacket potato should even look like! I did mention to the polite young man that served me that it looked rather barren - he apologised and said that?s how it comes. I think my complaint may have got through as about 10 minutes later the man next to me had the same dish and faired much better - he was also offered mayo etc - I wasn?t - I went to the servery and there was none on offer! Hilliers management please train your staff better before you let them loose in food - I wouldn?t eat here again.
