Wanted to buy safety boots. Had to go round the store to find an assistant who's attitude was don't care, told me to go back to the shoe section where a guy would help. Told her he wasn't there, due didn't care. Then went to the door where another assistant said there's a guy there, told her there wasn't. Again no helpWalked out. Why can't sd assistants assist?

Beware of no returns policy - only exchange or credit note. There is a notice by the tills but the specific wording is hidden away.

Very unhelpful, rude staff. Accused one lady of screaming at them (she didn't) customers were walking out of the store as staff were stood around talking and shuffling boxes. One older woman (the one who accused the lady of screaming) I assume a manager was very condesending and rude. One of the staff called Naomi just ignored customers waiting for left shoes. A young guy thought it was funny to scoff at customers leaving. I decided not to bother. Massive loss of sales due to very poor staff.

Firstly, I was provided with an awful customer service - I couldn?t find any sales assistant to help, but when I did find someone they are always look tired, sad, unwilling to communicate.Secondly, Sports Direct return policy is a complete disaster- you CANNOT receive money back. ( I?ve purchased an item in-store and after I discovered that the product was slightly bigger for me I decided to return it. But it turned out that Sports direct provide only EXCHANGES OR E-VOUCHER for only purchases made at their store or website?)Thirdly, beware of item?s size - if on the website you see that it says UK 6 (39), in store you may see the same item but with size UK 6 (40)!!!

Service is so slow and short staffed, they also look unhappy.Not many bargain to be had tbh. Check their return policy as they do not give refunds only credit note.Also take blue light card which is handy.Personally I try and avoid here as stock levels are low, and service isn't great.Could certainly do with a new manager in to sort this place out!

A truly terrible company.From their refund policy (which is no money back unless legally required to do so) to the fact their online prices don?t match their store prices, not for mention they will use every misleading trick in the retail book to squeeze what money they can from customers like misrepresenting the RRP then showing fake discounts on products.I would never recommend purchasing from them.

I went here to get football boot and despite low stock(which a few suppliers had the same problem) the very friendly staff helped me with a really good pair at a very good prices.

An OK store within Swan Walk, and friendly and efficient staff.However, my biggest gripe is trying to contact the branch by phone. Its just pretty much impossible. So if you are travelling miles to get to a branch, you've absolutely no idea whether they've stock or not.Unlike what one might expect, the phone is positioned by the entrance to the shop. I suspect this is because, whoever it is that is meant to answer the phone hangs out by the entrance. Seems odd, and certainly the regular staff don't answer the phone. To makes things even less likely to be answered, the phone is ddliberately swt to silent!We spent a good hour trying to phone - constantly - and was never answered. Even when in the store, we tried ringing the number, just to see where the phone is, but no ringing noise at all. When we spotted the phone by the exit, we called again, and yes, the red light flashed on it. Now clearly visible by staff, one of the workforce walked toward the phone and answered.So there you go, if you need the phone to a store answering, go stand in the store itself, make it obvious you are looking at the phone, and call it. Voila.I should point out that this policy of not answering calls also exists in Worthing, too, so it's quite likely this is a policy that is nationwide.Shocking. If you're going to provide the ability to call individual stores (thank you!), at least consider answering the thing! Otherwise, just take them out and save everyone a whole load of hassle.

Horrible customer serviceYou ask for help, they ignore you in purpose.We asked helped for size 38,5, he brought 39 claiming that it is 38,5 on the system!

Went to buy a pair of shoes today, terrible customer service, when I asked for a size the response was I know nothing about shoes, I was referred to a colleague who just said we don't really stock many sizes. I asked the person at the till what the problem was, her response was "this is a cheap shop so don't expect good customer service". I'd rate them zero but the system doesn't allow it.

I went in at the weekend to get my son some trainers. I approached a member of staff to ask a question and he said ?What? not, (hello can I help you)? some basic manners need to be addressed.. appalling customer service

The staff there is awful. No one cares at all.
