Every single staff member I encountered here were so nice! I haven't been to the opticians for about 4 years and the whole process couldn't have been smoother. They are incredibly organised and clearly very good at what they do. From the optician himself (who was very thorough and I felt like really made sure to get my prescription absolutely perfect) to the lovely lady who helped me pick out my frames. Everything was explained really clearly and I wasn't rushed about my all so I was able to ask lots of questions and try on quite a few pairs of glasses. I wish I had the names of everyone who dealt with me as they all deserve praise (they have a super organised process with staff members at different stages)! Definitely recommend this branch!

Absolutely first class service throughout the entire team at Specsavers. No complaints about anything great service and knowledge from everyone especially the main optician

Kept waiting for ages , not told certain lenses were more expensive till I got to till . On collection kept waiting another 1/2 hr and told they were understaffed.. glasses weren?t any better and when I asked about it I was told oh it will be minuscule amount!!! Why am I told I need them then ? Tried to get me to only take one pair of the two ordered and ?get used to them ? then come back in few weeks for other pair ? How on earth does that make sense ? And let me guess i will be kept waiting again . Won?t use again

Great staff ridiculous booking system which books you in at 9am, which means you have to wait outside the store until 9am. You should at least inform customers that if they book this time, they must not arrive early or they will be waiting outside standing in all weather conditions.

I needed an emergency appointment - my eye had swollen up and needed to know how bad it was. The whole team were very good and was seen by Emmanuel - he was really good and took great care throughout. Thank you.

Great new store, with much more room and staff. Efficient process to take you through registration, testing, frame selection, and fitting. Friendly & pleasant staff - thoroughly recommended.

Outstanding service from a highly professional team.
- Woke up with blurred vision, went straight to Specsavers.
- Triaged with Cynthia at 8:54 (they opened early!)
- Eye Test with Amy at 9:07
- Full eye scan with Stephen at 9:20
Eye health was fine so I was INSTANTLY referred to East Surrey Hospital eye clinic for further tests.
The hospital called me to say they were expecting me. After a round of tests and scans I was relieved that it wasn't a stroke and a treatment plan was put in place. However, the quick response of the Specsavers team meant I got seen quickly and was able to rule out anything obvious. A brilliant service.
