Dont go in at 4.40pm expecting to change foreign currency. Was told by some very stressed looking lady that its Closed for euros at 4.30pm even though the opening hours are to 5.30pm.She was rude in her tone and needs to learn how to speak to customers. Disgusting really. You work to 5.30pm don't try and close things 1hr early wasted journey.

I recently got documents certified at the Post Office for a mortgage application and accidentally left the certified driving licence document behind at the counter. When I returned a couple of days later to check whether or not I had left it, I was told that it had thoughtfully been sent out to me in the post, which was very impressive.

The branch manager, whose is Vinod, is rude and doesn't have any manner. He is not professional while providing service. He doesn't listen and just kept talking, without understanding the situation. He also walked away randomly in the middle of providing service, without giving any indication, which wasn't acceptable. In my opinion, he isn't qualified to be a manager as he doesn't have the capability required for the role.

Terrible. I am a frequent Drop and Go user (I am an online seller) and the service is appalling. My IOSS numbers are not processed, despite my written reminders on my paperwork, which means my EU customers are charged VAT twice and then take it out on me. I have had large letters which have been mistakenly sent as small parcels overseas, which means I have paid nearly double what I should have paid. Sadly this is my local post office, but I have to make the extra effort to travel across town to the Coltsfoot Drive office (not so easy as I don't drive), as the service they provide there is so much better. I am absolutely SICK of the total ineptitude shown in what is supposed to be Horsham's main post office.

Don't bother trying to use passport renewal service. Went in and told they can't take photos properly. Got a booth photo outside and back in only to be told online service allegedly down (not mentioned on 1st visit 15 mins before).

Rude manager who doesn't know how to talk to people. Threw money back at me at the counter. Needs to remember that he's not in his home country anymore where anything flies and learn some manners. Judging by his responses to reviews, needs to go back to school.

Very helpful staff & they have tried beyond the expectations. I did my wife driving license but I was full satisfied with the service

I took my photo card driving licence renewal form in today to renew my licence as the DVLA sent it to me reminding me it's time, I can't do it online because that requires a passport but I have never needed one so I don't have one. I saw the manager who should be expected to know his job but this isn't the case. I gave him the form and explained I have misplaced my licence but as it shows on the form in black and white this is not a problem. He insisted on arguing with me saying he has to cut up the licence and return it or he can't process the renewal. Once again I tried to show him on the renewal it shows I didn't need my licence to renew. He then told me he was not going to lie for me and sent me away with a form to apply for a new licence explaining I have to pay by postal order as I don't have a check book (who uses check these days?) I had no option but to leave so I did. After I left I phoned the next closest post office in West Worthing, Mohamed answered the phone so I asked him if he could renew without my licence. He knows his job because he confirmed it's not a problem, he just needs to select the "lost licence" option and it's all good. I drove to Worthing and renewed my licence in less time than the manager of Horsham spent arguing with me about not being able too. I hope the manager of the Horsham post office reads this so he can learn how to do his job properly and avoid alienating another customer.

I been to post office to get a postal order and after speaking with the manager i left without getting anything , he was so rude not showing that he want to help a customer. More or less saying that are the rules and if i'm not happy i'm free to go. With a manager like that is a big lose for post office

Great local PO, yes it gets busy but so do most post offices! Staff are friendly an always helpful! Wanted to share some positivity in these trying times, some people just love to complain! But seriously, show me a PO that is never busy or doesn't have a queue!

A busy Saturday at approximately 11am is when I was in & don't mind admitting to being very anxious. That was soon eased. Honestly, I cannot praise the service and friendly nature enough!! Particularly during these frightening times; to be so helpful, orderly, reassuring and cheerful ~ Well, I think that's amazing!!!? I'm so sorry as I forgot to ask names. The young chap who dealt with my Amazon returns, using qr codes from my phone, was really great - patient and respectful. As was the young woman, who was sat behind the travel counter. Her smiling face gave me reason to smile too. She chatted, dealt with my post and was such a delight to deal with, truly. My admiration for you and all those who have to work on the front line is HUGE! THANK YOU VERY MUCH! Stay safe....

Useless staff.

Was halfway decent before WHSmiths took over the Post Office, ever since they got rid of the very helpful, long term serving staff and replaced them with new people, the quality has drastically plummeted. Be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes to be served as 9 times out of 10 they have one person serving (even when they can see that it's busy) on the Travel till, meaning that people needing to use the Travel till will get priority over those waiting in the queue (as per the rules). Even had it one time where a member of staff decided they were going to take their lunch break right at peak time when the queue went halfway through the store. I understand that workers are entitled to breaks and they probably try their hardest to provide a good service, but since there is never a manager around they can only do so much to help. A serious turn around is needed here at Horsham Post Office.

Worse service ever. By far the worse service I've ever experienced. Waited for 40 mins to be given a envelope full of dvla paperwork that was not relevant to what I was after and the lady knew it too. Just wanted me out of the way. Get more staff!!!!!!!!!
