Three parts ordered online for collection - one out of stock, another one 3 day wait. 2 calls from store apologising. Despite being emailed collection after 2pm for everything. Unable to ring store back as all calls diverted to call centre. Store staff fine but systems appalling.

Panicked when I realized we didn?t have gas for our portable bbq and we?re camping the next morning! So luckily I managed to order some from Halford?s Click and Collect at 9 pm and it was ready for collection by 8 am the next day. Thank you for completing the order so quickly - now we can go camping and eat!

Huge superstore and the till staff are helping customers elsewhere in the store.... i only use HALFORDS as LAST RESORT.
they have some nice products , i love the artfx paint but the tills being empty is pitifull.
They need dedication helpers and dedicated till staff.... i nearly walked out.

Great lesson to my kids on why physical shops are dying out. We went on a Sunday with the crazy idea that'd we'd order a bike. I arrived expecting that 1) the bike model size wouldn't be on display 2) the actual model wouldn't even be on display 3) there would be no available staff to help 4) I would end up ordering online and hoping for the best. All four expectations were met with flying colours. But what I stupidly hoped for was that my kids could at least sit on a bike with a similar sized frame. However even this was impossible as the bikes were all tightly connected to some sort of security system and any bike I was able to crowbar my kid onto was of an unknown size as the majority of display bikes had no way of telling what frame size they were. An amazing experience. Well done Halfords. Looking forward to the building being turned into yet another gym.

Advisors/operators need retraining one person didn't have any knowledge of carspares although I paid for the items I have written them of due to the mistakes and misunderstanding it was not possible to make a simple purchase

A negative visit today. We pre-ordered a rear number plate with addition of 'UK' & advised that it was ready. Arrived & produced driving licence & V5 and assistant went off to create it. Handed it to us & we had to explain that we had also paid for fitting. Assistant walked away & after waiting some minutes, I found him to ask if he was going to fit the number plate. He said it was actually his day off and he had only come in to fit another customer's roof box! I wondered why he was at the front of the store, operating the till! By now my husband wanted to have a refund but I did not want to leave it. The assistant said he would do the fitting & after around another 10 mins he came out to our car. Delay whilst he found a drill but then discovered that our existing number plate was screwed and glued in place. Had to break the old number plate and discuss how to fit the new one which would not be possible with the security screws. We settled on the new plate being stuck onto the car.
The store felt unprofessional today with staff not engaging with customers. Credit to the assistant helping on his day off.
