Darchini is a to die for restaurant. The food is always top tier, service is incredible, and Atmosphere, inviting.
We went in for a meal for two on Wednesday which is a tapas styled night. We had hot and medium dishes. These were priced at £19.95. That plus a drink each and a starter came to a modest £58.
Value for money is unparalleled in the area. The venue is set in a beautiful Tudor building that you have to see to believe. The staff are kind and attentive, but not overbearing - a hard balance to strike in the service industry.
On this recent occasion we had a new waiter who's English was not the best, but I did take note that when he got things wrong, the manager very calmly explained things in his own language without raising his voice. How a manager treats their staff is always a surefire way to know how much they care about their customers.
There's a lovely bar here as well, and also the toilets are incredibly well kept - a good sign that the kitchen is in a similar state.

My brothers and I ordered a delivery yesterday evening. My elder brother (70 and rather difficult to please..) had the Goan Fish Curry and extolled it to the highest. "Absolutely superb" he said.. Goodness, I had a taste, it was gorgeous. What with lamb and chicken dishes, the whole experience was first class.Best side was the Tarka Dall. Dipping my paratha in it, heaven.Thank you Darchini..

The food here is consistently good and we always enjoy it whether eaten in or as a takeaway. The staff are excellent and friendly who are always knowledgeable and flexible when it comes to menu options.

Great food and service. Rating 3 stars as they have no baby changing services which really didn't help when needing to change our 3 month old. It doesn't cost a lot to have one installed in the toilets.

We went for an early supper to Darchini on Saturday evening. Was really cold outside, inside temperature was similar. Freezing! Food was ok, but we didn?t enjoy it as cutlery so cold to handle, food got cold in the minutes. Note to self- do not go to Darchini in the winter. Such a shame after many years of enjoyment.
