Tried to return a pair of curtains as they were alughtly too big for the awkward sized window we have, only to be told by the less than helpful sales assistant that they couldn't be returned as they were 'filthy' and 'disgusting'.
These curtain were taken out of the packaging, held up against the window and then promptly put back in the original packaging. If they were as she described then they must have been sold in that condition.
For the money we paid, the quality of these curtains, were now stuck with, is awful. Next time I'll save myself the displeasure of visiting here and head to Dunelm instead.

Unfortunately, the biggest misfortune of Horsham Argos is having an employee named Jade. She never listens to customers or understands their issues. She makes her own personal judgments and completely ignores people she doesn?t like. She is very rude and disrespectful. I truly feel sorry for Horsham Argos. She truly needs training on how to behave politely.

Attended Argos at Sainsbury's Thursday evening 30/5/24 with my son to pick up online purchases. What a disappointment!
To be greated by a grumpy elderly person that served us. Rude and very condescending. Awful experience!

I visited the Horsham store today and had a query. I queued behind a really happy, friendly customer with his son and he was being spoken to so rudely by a staff member called Chris. I didn't want to be spoken to in the same manner so I went elsewhere. There was no issue with the customer, this staff member is rude and unapproachable.

Poor quality products, staff seems to not understand what warranty is? Purchased a vacuum cleaner and the handle was broken. Took it back and staff suggested to come on Saturday to talk with the manager. The manager gave me a number to call Argos customer care but they said it was collected in store and i can only get it replaced or repaired in store only. Such a bad customer service, I visited the store 3 times, staff didn't do anything with the broken product which is still in the warranty.

Received curtains already been opened and stunk of cigarettes so returned them immediately. Got served by Ben. Rude guy, tried to blame us for the packaging. We gave it back exactly as it was given to us and he proceeded to tell us that argos wouldn?t have ever given it to us this way. He denied so told him to check the CCTV from the week before and he?d see how it was packaged and given to us? he said he won?t be checking that. He was very difficult, kept trying to cause an argument with us? the customer! Immature guy and doesn't know how to speak to customers nicely. I will be going to another argos all the time, simply because of this god awful experience.

Store is a disgrace. Colleague named Jess needs some serious training in customer service. Didn't know Argos' standards were so low. Do better.

I went to take my Sons headset back for an exchange as it?s microphone and one of the headphones stopped working. It?s under the 2 year guarantee I paid extra for at the time of purchase.Jade and the Manager tried to fob me off saying they had checked the product out the back and it was working ok.Having to explain to them it not working fine as I?ve checked it myself Jade then went back to the office left me standing for another 5 mins and then said it?s best I send it back to the manufacturer and let them sort it.As you can imagine by now I was not impressed, I again explained I had bought the product from Argos I have the proof of purchase and or off of paying for the 2 year cover .Jade then again went out the back I presume to the Manager and came back another 5 mins later explaining they don?t have the product to swap so will give me a gift card instead.I understand it the product I brought back was in bad wear and looked like it was a fault of me own I would expect caution from Argos but it wasn?t and I had proof of purchase and proof of extra guarantee paid for.Terrible service use another branch if possible badly managed branch

Last week I bought Vax Pace Cordless vacuum cleaner from Horsham Argos. I replaced it because it had cracks on it. Second time I wanted to return it because the second product I bought had the same faulty. They said that the cracks on the product were design and claimed that I also used the vacuum cleaner and did not accept returns. You should never go to Argos Horsham. They sell you a broken second hand vacuum cleaner and headache for 150 pounds.

Victoria the Manager of the Argos in Sainsburys Horsham is the rudest person who has ever worked in Retail. A terrible person with a terrible attitude who has no customer service skills. I will complain to Argos directly

just returned a new kettle purchased yesterday...metal casing gets dangerously hot when boiled.
refused any exchange or refund saying it's not faulty.
Basically said..don't care if you burn yourself!..Bloody awful customer service.
won't be purchasing from Argos again!

Absolutely livid almost reducing my wife to tears !!That Horrible young female member of staff and her nasty attitude !! My wife ordered a TV drove from Portsmouth to collect it and forgot our card ! Straight away her attitude changed and she got bolshy with my wife then got the Regional Manager involved who was polite and explained that she couldn't take the TV without the card which was fair enough but for the Store Manager to then look at my wife while laughing behind her manager was totally out of line !! This will be going to your customer complaints at your head office! Incident took place between 15 30 and 15 45 on the 17/08/21 And she claims to be the manager and behaves like that !!
