Group of 4 stopped by for dinner about 6.30pm.
Website doesn't appear to have updated menu.
No fish and chips! On menu. We ordered
Vegetable lasagne £12, chicken burger £13. Ham eggs and chips and scampi.
Mediocre.
Ham,egg chips meal was big. Actual chicken burger was small. Veg lasagne ok.
Everything piping hot, pleasant good service , just don't expect high end. Good basic pub grub.

Absolutely lovely food, I had the TFI burger with blue cheese sauce, served with chips, onion rings, and coleslaw. It was lovely and filling and tasted superb! The staff were really friendly and welcoming too.
We went on a Tuesday lunchtime and it was relatively quiet. Great atmosphere in a lovely little English pub. I'm sure we will be back at some point!

Good food and beer great frendly atmosphere and good service we went fo Sunday lunch which is on the specials board which can change as lunch goes on .so book an early table to avoid disappointment. The roast I had was fantastic, the fresh, locally sourced veg was delicious and perfectly cooked

After a stroll around Horsham and a rest in the wonderful park they have there, we used our sat nav and went to The Fox pub at Small dole. It's about a 14mile trip but well worth it as it's a lively country pub.
The staff gave us an extremely friendly welcome, and you get a good choice of beers as well.
The food was excellent from the traditional scampi, to the mouthwatering burger, and of course a little extra with the bacon and stilton added. It was all absolutely delicious and well worth the journey.
May we pass our thanks on to Jan and all the staff for making our visit so special.
