Park in the car park and have a good old tramp round this reserve, looking out for a variety of wildlife, from buzzards and shy oak planting jays to deer and butterflies if the weather is warm enough. No dogs allowed here. This week was quite wet underfoot - wellies or boots recommended

Lovely walk that the kids enjoyed. Sleeping knight was a fun find for the family.

Lovely little place to walk around and spot wildlife.

Having walked around and tried the doors we found nothing about the trust for visitors. Doors locked and altogether unwelcoming feel to it all. Very disappointed. Clearly staff were in the building and it has organisational roles going on. It is such a pity people making the effort to come and explore appear so ignored. Perhaps just a bad day...

Very nice nature reserve, with no dogs messing about and jumping on you... DOGS NOT ALLOWED ?Free parking and plenty of nice walks. If you happen to arrive on a not so busy day, there are lots of birds to look at, but of course children will spoil that if present.

This is one of my favourite places for a peaceful wander. Love the bird hide especially when open.

Fantastic full on day, with the legendary David Plummer .Looking at how to track animals and using camouflage. We got to see a buzzard come down in the field. Baby song thrush and mum. baby ducklings and moorhensAnd the end of the day finished with a deer only 5 feet away..The site is a great place for young and old to investigate too.

A lot of work going on there making it great for the Summer. Wide range of wonderful wildlife set in beautiful natural surroundings. Lakes, woods, fields, plenty to explore and enjoy.

So run down now. Spent many happy years as a child following the nature trails round and in the water mill and shop and round the lakes. Sadly now the pond dipping has no water and the majority of the lake area is so overgrown you cant see much water. Disappointed.

Woods Mill is amazing. We went there with it three young children and in just over an hour we saw Kestrels, Grass Snakes, Tad Poles, Swans (and baby swans), lots of birds, bugs, flowers and trees. Well worth the visit. We will be back!!

Loved it here. Quiet and great for summer pond dipping. Had to go round twice before I found the green man.

We went to Woods Mill this afternoon 29/12/2020. Its a great place for the children whilst having a pleasant walk in the countryside. I particularly recommend the wild bird feeding station and the hide where good photo opportunities are ever present. Bring your wellies though it can be very muddy in places.
