Haywards heath store for the disabled is terrible. The store has become so crammed full of whatever they put into the wire containers, products in the floor and cardboard stands, trying to get around the shop is terrible, especially with a mobility scooter like myself. Can barely get around the shop so I had to leave and get my stationary elsewhere.

idk how haywards heath has found itself with such a plethora of mid-range stationary shops, but this WHSmiths is one of them. It's fine. It feels like the only place left on the planet that still stocks brand new copies of books written by YouTubers who were at the height of their fame a decade ago.
I will take photos/videos of the inside when I next have the chance.

Nice old style WHS branch with own Post Office counter instore. I venture in occasionally. Especially when there outside waiting for a bus, if I've eight to ten minutes left then I've enough time to recce through the maps section. Usually something nice and old school there in maps on London or Sussex generally.Bit of a crowded out filled shop which has a feeling of being a little bit claustrophobic in some of the Isles at times. Not therefore exacy the most relaxing store to venture into. But I like the staff as they're always polite, helpful and attentive in your transaction. Whenever I'm in Haywards Heath for something it is somewhere I pop into, to kill wait times before catching necessary buses back. One of the friendly places to go into on the Haywards Heath main shopping areas. ( In what honestly otherwise strangely I find not one of the exactly friendliest towns generally in the South East of the UK really. I'd actually label the populace local of Haywards Heath easily among the most unfriendly welcome places I've travelled to or through. They don't seem to like strange faces who they don't know here! Feel like I'm in one of those Hollywood US backwoods Deliverance or Wrong Turn towns sometimes here. Odd place, Haywards Heath. )

Super happy with the service, the lady at checkout was knowledgeable and diligent, and it resulted in me buying something I wasn't looking for but found I needed. The lad helping at the post office does an excellent job too - so it's easily 5 stars from me!

Have had a magazine held here for nearly 20 years now and one is set aside each month that is collected, all or almost all essential items found in store with a good collection of most things. Next to bus stops and coffee shops too, plus contains the post office as well. Staff helpful and know lots as well, always look forward to using this store.

It's now the main post office in the town centre. That's why I was there.
