Expensive so so portions quality not up to prices.. Didnt rate the starter or fish dish. Used to be better a few years ago Had better better food elsewhere sometimes at standard pub prices or similar prices. Not terrible I guess but not worth the price seems overrated. Had much better food in Brighton and London even

Great little pub with cosy warm fire atmosphere and nice ale selection. Sunday roast was average at best and didn't match the price point.

Our first time visiting after a long walk. We sat in the garden and had a great burger with amazing chunky chips! Looking forward to booking a table and eating inside.

Love this pub, four of us and our dog turned up on 20th April and the drink, food and deserts were all great! I would like to add that the staff and manager are all fantastic here and we will definitely be back next time we?re in the area.

Nice pub. Went on Sunday, roast was a bit disappointing, would have liked a bit more for £20+. Starter was nice though.

Staff were lovely and very friendly but just found it very expensive with small portions. I have the roast beef which was nice but nothing special and was left hungry after, could have done with more veg, potatoes and parsnips especially for £20. I had the sticky toffee pudding for dessert which was lovely, but again felt overpriced for what it was. Overall felt like the portion size was a massive let down as the quality didn't match the price.

Service was great, the staff were well organised, attentive and made sure we were happy throughout the entire night. Food was very nice too, came quickly and was hot. Would love to try the rest of the menu out!
