No chance of a till manned by staff. Huge trolley, endless trying to search on self checkout for loose vegetables.
Then have to scan till receipt to leave. Once they have facial recognition it will feel very over bearing.
I'd rather go somewhere I'm treated as a customer not a potential shop lifter.

Appalling behaviour and policies
The ?new ? check out system is contrary to basic assumption that you are not guilty unless proven otherwise. Need to scan a receipt to exit: half of the time it does not work. Try doing it with your hands full and children? absolutely discriminating against parents or people with special needs. Avoid this shop like the plague?.

Freezers in lunchtime meal deal and main freezer section broken meaning I had to go elsewhere to complete my shop,

My local. Very friendly staff , wouldn?t do their job. Only gripe is they move stock from aisle-aisle, however I?ve asked , and it?s the suits who make the decisions. Apart from that , yep, great store.

Just for clarification, the 5 stars are for the quality of the merchandise.
I used to love Sainsbury's HaywardsHeath, and grocery shopping used to be a nice experience, but not anymore. This is because all of the staff / customer service staff are preparing online shopping while customers are doing their shopping. There are too many of them, and they race through the Isles unbelievable as some of them don't have customer service manners, yesterday a young lad hit my trolley with their big trolley and he didn't apologised properly as he was in a hurry to complete the online shopping, it looks like a racing grond not supermarket, and to topped up there's always that one that rides that machine to clean and sweep the floor and Isles, when they should have the store clean when the open the doors for customers in the morning,
And the other annoying thing is when you finish shopping in he morning you don't see anyone at the checkouts, when I asked the customer service or floor manager I was told you go and use the self checkout then I said but my grocery is a lot he said no you can do it.
Now, do you call this customer service?
I think we should say RIP to manners and customer service at Sainsbury's.
