Came for Sunday lunch as a group of 7. Service was OK, a little slow though considering only 4 occupied tables. Pizzas were all good, crisp bases, and good amount of toppings. Suprised to find caramel pizza dolce unavailable. Restaurant would be a good option for a large group dinner.

Fantastic! The crust was perfectly crispy, and the toppings were fresh and delicious. The service was friendly, and the ambiance was cozy. I'll definitely be going back for more.

Pretty good, gluten-free dough balls were great. Gluten-free pizza could have been better but it was nice just being able to eat out! It was a Sunday afternoon so very quiet at the time. Peach fizzy drink was one of the best soft drinks I've had before.

It seems common these days for pizza places to buy in the pizza bases. It's less common for them to buy in enough gluten free bases. There's something rather disappointing in being offered two children's bases instead, particularly when two children's meals would be cheaper. That turns a meal into a disappointment. It turns out that the management aren't that concerned about bad reviews either. No sign of the promised addressing of my review. My single star for service is down to management and not the waiting staff..

Ah, Pizza Express in Haywards Heath! Mama mia, what an experience! ??I must say, when it comes to dough balls, they've truly "rolled" out the red carpet. The dough balls were so light and fluffy, they made me feel like I was back in Nonna's kitchen. I almost expected to find a little surprise inside, like a hidden pizza treasure! ??The pizza? Bellissimo! It transported me straight to Napoli with each bite. And the atmosphere, molto bene! It felt like a true Italian piazza. I half-expected to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa right outside!Overall, a delightful experience that warmed my Italian heart. Grazie mille, Pizza Express! You've made this Italiano molto contento! ????

Pleasant visit. Food was great, so was service. Dissapointed that the offers on the app could not apply because I was using my Tesco Reward voucher.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of gluten free options.Parking: Parked in a 2 hr limit space about 5 mins walk away.

I?ve been into the restaurant for meals and also had deliveries at home never had a problem until today hence I?ve edited my 5 star review down to three stars and here is why. Basically pizza is being delivered pretty much lacking any cheese at all - I get cheese is expensive just now but when you order margarita you do expect the base to be hidden under cheese not huge bits of bare pizza base with just sauce and a tiny amount of cheese on that is so bad. I have had some great pizzas from here with plenty of cheese but they really are few and far between now I won?t be ordering again if your standard doesn?t improve it?s not ok it?s basic to make a pizza not hard. Then also tonight I ordered three desserts of tiramisu you sent two tiramisus and one tiny piece of brownie- I?m sorry but by comparison it wasn?t even half the size and when you are charging over £7 for it it?s not acceptable plus no phone call was made to me to ask me if it was ok to substitute one dessert none of us like brownie so that was a waste - it looked dry and stale anyway revolting not what I paid for and not what I ordered so should not have been sent to me. I mean whoever put that tiny bit of brownie in that box must surely have thought well this is embarrassing it?s not as nice or as big as the other two portions of desserts?! Sorry but your standards have slipped and my review reflects that now I?ve had to ask for two refunds tonight as the pizza was completely cold and you sent a dessert I didn?t order so based on that I won?t be ordering again. Not good enough.

The Duo Romana was a welcomed sight!! Staff were second to none - very attentive, very friendly and didn't rush us. Will come again.

I had a pasta dish which was meant to be pesto, pine nut, I have never had a bowl of pasta that tasted so bland, it was thick heavy cream with no flavour what so ever. What an overpriced restaurant with staff whom clearly didn't care if you weren't satisfied. It will be the last time we wast money eating overpriced tasteless food. Shame on you Pizza express.

This review is based solely on Pizza Express - Haywards Heath and Uber takeaway service on the evening of Friday 14th July 2023. We ordered three pizzas and one calzone for takeaway. The delivery slot was between 19:13 to 19:23. After waiting forty minutes beyond that time I rang the restaurant hoping to speak to someone, but unfortunately I had to leave a message. However there was the promise that a member of staff would get back to me. A further forty minutes lapsed, another phone call made and another promise broken. The meal was finally delivered at 20:40 but had been ready for collection at 19:07, according to the docket attached to the pizza box. And, yes, the food did look and taste as if it had been knocking around for ninety minutes either on the counter or in a delivery bag. Again, another wasted phone call. Our first and last home delivery of pizzas from Pizza Express.

The atmosphere was nice - quiet on Satirday lunchtime but a few families & groups in for a bit of hubub. The service was good, speedy and professional. You know what you're getting with a pizza express, the food isn't fantastic but it was a reliably pleasant lunch!

we are arrived to a pretty much empty restaurant where we were greeted by very stressed staff. When trying to figure out how to work the app we were given no help by the waiter oscar he just stood there and watched. We order are drinks and a jug of a tap water where we given no glasses and when did receive them they were practically thrown down at the table by the waitress called Rosie. The same happened when being given our starters. Our food then arrived but no cutlery or pizza cuter meaning we had to ask again for what should of been the bare minimum. I then also asked for no pancetta in my Cabonara but received it anyways and it was full of it I couldn?t even see my pasta. It safe to say no tip was left and you should NEVER visit Haywards Heath pizza express. I recommend Zizzis just round the corner if you are looking for an Italian cuisine!!!

I ordered delivery as unable to collect or eat in. To defend them the taste was all there, crispy base, nice amount of toppings, shame it was cold!!!!! But what do you expect when collection time for delivery driver is 2037 and i get it 2103!!!!! so how long was it sat out for before collection and how many other drop offs before it gets to me. Those boxes don't keep it warm and there thermos clearly didn't get so I can only think it was sat out a while before collection to have cooled the amount it did.... .... its a shame really as pizza wasn't bad but really I'm not a fan of cold pizza
