Wonderful experience. We used Linfield Golf Course for a birthday party and all I can say isn?t enough to describe how good they were. The food was amazing and the staff were really friendly and helpful.

What a shame, this course has really let itself go down hill.Firstly the tee boxes are uneven and the lack of grass on some of them is not great to play off. The fairways are in need of a cut, with some of the fairways being the same as the rough. The bunkers are awful with weeds growing out of them and barely any sand in them making them unenjoyable to play. The greens by far are the worst if you not playing on greens covered in mud you are bogged out by slow and wet greens even when it hasn't rained for a couple of days.The course is also pretty boring to play with most holes just going side by side, up and down. There are also long walks between certain holes and not everything is clearly marked out in which you can take a 5 minute walk finding the next hole. With the fairways being so close together there are lots of people playing there miss hits on different fairways and balls flying from every directions near you and when you hear a call of a stray ball you become on edge not knowing if that is aimed for you or where it has been hit from. Slow play is definitely part of this courses culture with no one knowing wanting to let anyone through and would rather hold you up than let you pass.The refreshments, food and non-acholic drinks are just as awful as the course. There is no pro shop either.A good thing about this course is with it being cheap to play 18 holes it's a great place to bring people to introduce them into golf and learn how to play.Ultimately from my experience of today probably one of the worst courses in Sussex, which is a shame as it has so much history behind it.

Good brekkie course in reasonable condition bunkers need sorting out , to shabby need weeding and topped up with sand.

Went there for a great party. It was a lovely venue but obviously my experience of it somewhat limited. Food was great and staff friendly.

Excellent value for money and fairly quick play. 4 star course but should get a half star more for its keen pricing. Surprised it wasn't busier on a sunny sunday and will definitely be coming back. Some holes to get out the driver and a few where it should have been left in the bag and thought through a bit more!There is room for improvement to cut back the grass more off the fairways and not leave all the cuttings on ground. I lost a couple balls that really were not that wayward.Friendly clubhouse and good practice areas. Glad we took a chance somewhere new and looking forward to another round here!

I had my son's memorial service there recently and their service is absolutely fantastic. The staff are so warm and welcoming.

Beautiful weather to be out on the golf course. Always loved Lindfield and always a challenge! Friendly team in the club house always make you welcome.Course fee for visitors is excellent value for money.

The worst golf club iv ever been to, very poor condition and the staff are extremely rude and and unhelpful.The web site says 24 practice bays where the mats must be 10 years old.The site also says practice off of mats or turf but I got moaned at and asked to leave because I was practicing on the turf by and extremely rude member of staff who needs to go to a charm school to learn who to talk to people, don?t wast your money or time going there.

I arranged a wake here, and the staff, with very little notice, provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere, great buffet, and excellent service. I can't praise them highly enough.
