?? **Warning About Unethical Sales Practice at EE Haywards Heath** ??
I want to share a concerning experience I had at EE Haywards Heath today 3rd April 2025 (between 1:15 PM ? 1:55 PM) while attempting to upgrade my phone.
Yesterday, I found a deal on the EE app where I would pay **£175 upfront** and around **£40 per month** for a new phone. However, when I visited the store, I was only offered plans that were significantly more expensive?**£72 per month for a two-year contract or £52 per month for a three-year contract**.
While I was searching for the deal I had seen online, the staff member assisting me made an unexpected and highly inappropriate offer. He stated that if I **gave him the upfront payment in cash directly**, he would apply his **friends and family discount**, reducing my monthly payment to approximately **£44 per month**.
I found this suggestion to be extremely unprofessional and unethical. It left me feeling uncomfortable and vulnerable, as it appeared to be an attempt to personally profit from my transaction. This is not the level of service or integrity one would expect from a reputable company like EE.
I strongly advise others to **exercise caution when visiting this store**. This kind of behaviour raises serious concerns, and I hope EE takes immediate action to prevent this from happening to other customers.

Due to personal reasons the photos etc on my damaged phone were vitally important to me. A strong emotional link to my deceased wife. The guys in your Haywards Heath branch, especially Keiran and Conner, could not have been more helpful. Having been in Retail for nearly 50 years I applaud their commitment and service. Exceptionally good. If Google allowed a 10 star review I'd be happy to give it. Regards, one extremely happy customer.

Poor service. Go in to get a new contract and upgrade, get all the way through to signing a contract to be told, actually no we don't have that phone. The next one is more expensive. Absolute waste of time. The guy serving did not show any care or interest, just as per the screen information. No help from a manager either. If I wanted to be served by a computer I would have just gone online.
Also, you sign a contract for a fixed amount to them be told, this will increase each year! Why sign a fixed priced contract then? EE are turning out to be a joke.

STAY AWAY! They sold me a mobile wi fi router that I specifically needed to WFH with a VPN, it doesn't work as EE firewall blocks any VPN, wasted £50 that I can't get back. Shop staff couldn't care less and are NOT technical, use another provider who know what there talking about! Been a customer for 21 years with 3 contracts, not anymore!!!!

Went in, asked for a FlipZ6, was told come back on Friday and we'll have it. I come back, still no phone, why not call ahead? As far as I'm concerned EE owes me for my time, fuel and parking x2

The store manager Hamza bent over backwards to sort out issues with both myself and my wife.Excellent customer service which is often lacking these days.He managed to come up with a solution with my wifes phone and sorted out my broadband account with BT after lengthy discussions with them.Top marks!

Went to EE shop two weeks ago and the young lady manager (sorry I forgot her name) was absolutely amazing. Extremely high customer service, gave us incredible advice and looked after me and my son so well! She was outstanding!!
