I have just finished eating a Beef Wellington and was amazed how little flavour there was. The meat was pink as I like it and tender, the pastry cooked very nicely, all very good but lacking in flavour! Less in the beef than in the sprouts and roast potatoes! I was really looking forward to it and had bought a special bottle...
