Used to work as a nero barista and can say no one recently from the Hayward?s store can produce a drink, over extracted to the life of the bean and milk steamed to the point your tongue thinks it?s entering hell. A redo course for the staff would be good for them. Last good coffee I had was in BH from Agnes, reputable staff that knows how to make a coffee.

Ordered Nero from Uber eats a month or two ago. No food or drink arrived ordered cakes and other items . About £27 down the drain!. I'm not even sure the order was collected. Could not get hold of you to complain via phone so leaving review. Ue say not there fault/blame you or driver. I want refund.

Please turn the music down. Couldn't make calls and talk to my friend. I come from London and Nero cafés in London do not have music so loud. Please put a sock in it.

I ordered three coffees and the barista was having a bad day. He made me feel it. There was a long line so he was trying to serve everyone speedily but he was brusque to the point of curtness. I have a speech impairment so sometimes I have difficulty getting my words out but you would not notice if you did not know me. First, he did not acknowledge my order properly so I did not know if he had heard me say "skinny milk". He responded with a terse "I did listen!" in rather an unnecessary tone. He then immediately put chocolate on the three drinks and was quite offhand when I said that I did not want this. I tried to explain that I could accept one with chocolate but it was too late. He had thrown them down the sink in rather a demonstrative fashion. He pointedly said he would make them again. Unpleasant experience and wholly unnecessary.

The only reason I frequent this place is because I know I can get a table anytime/anyday.
Now for the bad points, most of the time you feel like you?re just spending a fair amount of your day just queuing for a coffee.
The tables mount up with trays as they?re not cleared with any haste. Today I cleared my table onto one of the large tables, another 3 trays were on that table as I left. Still not cleared.
The toilets are usually dirty. Do they actually have a cleaner? I think not

One of the worse coffee shops I've experianced. The staff were awfully unfriendly. Tried to help clear a table as it was dirty and needed a place to sit. The staff member repeatedly told us to put it back on the table. He then snatched the tray from us walked across the seating area (from their wash area) to place it back on the table. The rest of the time there was made to feel extremely uncomfortable with staff staring and muttering after we had sat down. Eventually we had enough and left to go elsewhere to work.

Worst Nero experience I've ever had. I cleared a table as none where free to sit at and took it over to the members of staff behind the counter and asked politely if one could take it from me and put it in the dishwashing area next to him. Instead he rolled his eyes at me and demanded I put it on another table, then proceeded to snatch it out of my hands and slam it down onto another table and told me he would "get to it" and he was "too busy for this". I have never been spoken to so rudely. All other members of staff just awkwardly stared. Rude and inconsiderate of customers.

This used to be a great coffee stop but since the manager changed, it's mediocre at best. They've messed up my and my partner's drinks so many times, you just expect it now. For example, they either dont put chocolate in your mocha frappe, so it tastes like a latte, or so much chocolate it tastes like Nesquik. The place feels dated and worn out. The staff look depressed. Costa over the road now has a couple of fantastic, friendly coffee maestros so it's not looking good for Nero.
