Booked online on Thursday for a table of 5 having been several times to the sportsman.
Arrived to be told the kitchens not open and its a food van!
Sadly with a fussy 92yo and 86yo they did not want burgers and Raclette.
Having driven from Heathfield and Brighton it really ruined the surprise lunch we had planned for them.
Annoyingly I had tried calling Thursday and Friday evening regarding food options but nobody answered.

Fantastic pub in the sunshine. Great beer garden with play equipment for children to entertain themselves in. Food and drink is good too.

Booked a pod (shepherd's hut) for our meal as my father has dementia. Being in the pod is less confusing as it is removed from the hustle and bustle of the pub. The pods seem to be able to take around 10 - 12 people. There is also seating in the pub.
This was our 3rd meal here, food is always excellent with generous portions.
It was a really warm day when we visited the pub, we were comfortable in the pod, but for those who enjoy the sun, the beer garden (located across the road, and is huge) is available.

Went for a random bike ? ride and found this little treasure, food looked amazing, and what we tasted ? was lush!! And to top it off 0% Estrella on tap!!
