Had two cream teas the scones were warm and delicious, tea tasted first class. Don't live locally but will be back to sample the sandwiches.

Great little tea rooms next to the gorgeous High down gardens well worth a visit .
Lovely peaceful location next to Hotel .

I call in for tea and cake .. sometimes with friends, sometimes by myself, sometimes when we've been for a walk along the top of the hill, and sometimes ..just because...
There's always a good variety of cakes and the staff are always pleasant. Dogs are welcome and there's a nice community noticeboard.
There is seating outside, in a terraced area which, combined with the exterior, always reminds me of a Taverna, in a good way!

very disapointed very expensive for how little you get no menu as such one two sandwiches ( which we were served with just one each and a small portion of coldsaw no sidw salad like you used to get ) 2 coffees = 22.00 pounds !!!!!!!! staff were not cheerful etc cetatainly not worth a visit

Extortionate prices it cost me over £8 for a pot a tea for one and a cappuccino it's taking the biscuit charging prices that high, I usually go to Arundel and get better value for money.
On a good note the staff are nice and friendly, tea rooms are clean.

Always stop off here when we visit Highdown Hill for a walk or stroll through the Gardens. Lovely cakes & coffee , especially the Lamingtons cake which is superb. Nice seating area outside too.

We have not been since late in 2024. We was a bit shocked at the £4.45 each? The coffee's are on the small side. How can they charge this amount when most coffee shops are around £4.00 or under. We will not recommend or return to this tea room.

No wonder it was empty, absolutely dreadful place, really dreadful!!! OVER PRICED paid nearly £14 for 1 coffee ,1 tea a slice of toast and a slice of cake, will not be returning here!!! and wouldn't recommend it to anyone!!

Friendly service but the quality of the food really didn't match the cost. Sandwiches were poor in quality, quantity and the side of coleslaw was inedible and was left as per other tables. Won't be returning.

very cute tearoom next to the pub, ideal after a dog walk. good selection of sandwiches/paninis, cakes and drinks. cream teas here are lovely with warm scones ?? dog friendly as well with outdoor and indoor seating.
