I'm still in a holding pattern of being able to go safely into this branch of Wetherspoons pubs. My local town one. In 2018 Sussex Police advised me to make it a no go area for myself. As they couldn't guarantee my safety going in there as I used to. Where I regularly before then eat foods here, had coffees and watched the news TV. I'm Autistic Spectrum Asperger's adult in my late fifties and there's a regular drinking clique in there who didn't like me due to my disability evident to many. So they would abuse me verbally constantly there all of them. And that moved to an assault physical upon my person there by one of this gang of regular drinkers. Who was very drunk and hatefully abusive towards myself and any others who would go in there with me for food or coffees. So since 2018, and the pub chain as well as the police are aware, I am unable to safely go in here at all.At time of the assault attack upon me there the staff refused to cooperate with local police investigating. One senior Manageress telling me it was my fault I was assaulted and verbally abused by the little gang of several heavy regular drinkers there. One of which, who was the one assaulting me, wore his local Town Council gardening team uniform while he was doing so. Since that time at least four or five of that gang have pursued me in the town hurling abuse at myself. And one more of them assaulted me and tried to street rob me of my possessions and phone and valuables by Moat Pond in the dark late last year, as he came from this pub drunk, his regular haunt with this little bullying hate crime drinking clique.Head office of this pub chain are fully made aware by myself in writing. And refused to assist me to safely be able to again revisit this premises even for simple food or coffee. It is all currently being ongoing investigated as a case of extreme continued hate crime against me in my disability by this group of people. Three of which work for the local Town Council it seems linked to that clique of drinkers there. (Two uniformed members of the local gardening team for EG Town Council and the other worker from the Mount Noddy area, who attacked me by Moat Pond.)Perhaps one day these people will be permanently barred all from this Wetherspoons, so myself and others suffering from life long disabilities can eat here, and drink coffee and watch TV again without fear of abuse, threat intimidation and physical attack. Right now though the local police and myself as victim are not holding our breath for any kind of an improved outcome in the near future. Wetherspoons you should be damned ashamed of yourselves in your head office and your area offices for letting this all go on and stand for so many past years. I wasn't the only one being targeted by this group of regular heavy drinkers who seem to think that they own and run the pub not Wetherspoons. Shame on you.

Another Wetherspoons..Whilst staying in a hotel in Felbridge the night before flying out of Gatwick, we discovered this Wetherspoons about a 30 minute walk away. This is a large, open and bright Spoons situated within a complex building. The food was good, we had the afternoon fish and chips and loved the dessert.Staff were pleasant, we would return if in the area.

Well well well?. Never disappointed with a wetherspoons, although never better than distinctly average? but this one was lovely and clean and spacious, food was hot and well cooked! Parking outside and no nasty sticky menus! We will be back?

The steak was a little chewy but fine, I've had worse for twice the price in restaurants, I've also had better in other Wetherspoon's, you have to accept that the price for their food is low and all other meals are usually very good as a value price.

It?s a Wetherspoons. You get what you expect. Cheap beer and food. It?s served and tastes ok but it?s not a great place to go. The people you go with are more important than the location here.

It's what you expect from weatherspoons. Cheap food and drink, fair quality. It was clean and the staff courteous and efficient. Ordered via the app and the drinks came to our table quickly, shortly followed by the food.Wheelchair accessibility: Decent disabled access via the cinema entrance.

Sitting outside at table on pavement with 3 dogs quietly lying on their blanket. I was told to move and never come back again. Dogs were not allowed.

Good value for money, nice clean and well kept place. Greatly improved from visiting years ago. Staff try very hard to please.

This is one of the dullest, most uninspiring Spoons I've visited. You know what to expect with the food. Its not great but not terrible. Great value though. I paid £2.99 for a vegan breakfast.

Friendly staff and excellent value beer. The building itself tired and unwelcoming. Outdoor seating unappealing. Easy to find.

Waitress was friendly and helpful, breakfast came with 2 over cooked fried eggs and lacking the bacon. Bacon was brought over when I informed the waitress, suffered the eggs. Never mind I'm sure they get it right more than they get it wrong.

A very busy bar in the centre of east Grinstead. Good range of beers and very vibrant. Prices are probably the cheapest in town, so a good value night out.

Value for money in here, took the kids for breakfast and can't fault it. Used the app to order, drinks were with us very quickly, food followed not too far behind. Good portion size, I would prefer my bacon crispier and my black pudding less crispy.Kid-friendliness: Youngest was kept amused by colouring in the picture.

In terms of Whetherspoons this one is definitely middle of the pack. It's not an impressive building, it's tired, old and worn inside and you usually have a long wait at the bar. But the staff seem to want to work hard and the toilets are always clean. It's also quite large with a lot of seating. All in all, not a bad drinking hole for East Grinstead!

It's a spoons it's cheap but don't expect much if you ask for a Tuna & cheese Panini ! This is what the chef called an acceptable amount of cheese and tuna for your £7
