I was part of a band that played at The Crown - the landlord was incredibly welcoming to us and gave a loads of space to set up in (and we did get quite a few dancing!). The space is great, awesome staff and the TVs huge and great for sports events. I didn't get to try the food but I heard such good things about it I'll come back sometime soon and try it out!

Overall not a bad experience. The Sunday roast was really nice (and I'm fussy). The pudding, however, needed a little more attention to detail, apple crumble slopped into the bowl upside down, tasted ok thou. All the TV's showing football, brought our lunchtime outing to a premature end unfortunately, as the TV we were sitting under was extremely loud, we did ask if the sound could be turned off (it was hardly needed as there were another 2 in the immediate facinity and could be heard), but we were told it wasn't allowed!
One shining light the Crown offers is Kayla! Efficient isn't a big enough word to describe her, an absolute credit to the Crown and I hope she's appreciated!!!

Lots of screens to watch Fussball, fish and chips were inedible.. really horrible tough and rubbery .. sausage and mash were alright but salty .. was our second time there and have put it in our ?do not go back list? :( was totally disappointed in the fish and chips.

This is my second time here. Moved to RH19 in Nov, came here during holiday and it was festively rammed. Came here this Sunday. Have to say the service is awesome! Granted the local gents hover at the bar, still the bar staff have hawkeyes and can spot someone who has just come up. Staff are friendly and that is what makes me come back to any pub. It's game day so all 4+ giant TVs are on. Great vantage from any where you sit. Tried the veg sausage and mash, veg food in general is nondescript. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it. Now post COVID, food prices have gone up everywhere so expect desserts to be £8. That's life. Very chilled low key and not loud. Overall, this is my fave goto pub out of the 5 I have been to thus far in RH19.
