Staff are very friendly
Shelves are empty, very rarely any bread that's in date any more.
Sainsburys hide stuff that's just in date with the other stuff, presumably to trick you into buying it.
Never enough isles open.
Sainsburys are no longer convenient as you are quite frequently forced to shop elsewhere for the stuff that they don't have on their shelves

PLEASE READ MANAGER Dan Skelton!!! HARASSMENT
Your security guard needs to be dealt with about this harassment I keep having to go through!
?every single time I come into your shop I am constantly followed and stared at up and down by your security guard, this is my local shop I always buy my shopping here and always polite to your employees,
?I have VIDEO evidence to prove what I am saying here,
?every time without a doubt i step one foot into you shop he instantly follows me down EVERY SINGLE ISLE!!!! and speaks to other employees in his ear piece and then they all look at me.
?I had enough today thats why I videos it as it?s always the same case with this man!
HE DOES NOT LEAVE ME ALONE! EVERY TIME!
?i told him once before to leave me alone stop filling me and he said ?shut up im not following you get on with your shopping? !!!
?sometimes I let it pass and just get on with my shopping but I can?t anymore i don?t know what his problem is with me!!!
?i will send the photos on here for everyone to see and I will emails you the full video, these photos and videos aren?t even as bad as how he normally acts.
?HE ALSO TRIED TO HIT THE PHONE OUT MY HAND OR HIT ME! Which you can see on CCTV, also was 2 whitenesses to this, you can ask one of your other security or employee who has been with you for 3 days as he was next to us when this happened!
?I was there for about an hour today and kept walking up and down to see if he was still going, and he did the whole time I was there untill I told him to his face!
?im not over exaggerating here if anything im under exaggerating!
?if nothing is done avout this i will take it further!
?im sick of constantly being watched, followed, looked at, he stares at my body and my face, and gives me horrible looks! If you don?t get this sorted then I will sort this out! I will upload the photos on here as Cant send videos on reviews if anyone wasn?t the video message me!
THIS VIDEO DOES NOT DO JUSTICE! This is the least he has done normally it?s a lot worse than this, and before I started recording he was give me very evil looks!

This store has got worse over time. They keep moving items so that you spend longer in the shop having to try and find it in hopes of you finding other things and buying more items. What really does my head in is that I purchased milk that made me sick and was sour and off before the sell by date. I returned it to the shop and they just refunded me for it. We?re not in America and I don?t expect a pay out, but to just tell me here?s a refund of £2.30 for getting chronically ill is insane. Better go to Waitrose or the new Lidl that?s going to open soon.

usually order from this place through deliveroo and not a single time have i received an order on time/with all the articles i originally ordered. while i do appreciate that they are likely very busy, the absence of updates during preparation (making the order impossible to track) and the general untimeliness (i always pre order in the evening for the following afternoon) just make it an unnecessarily stressful experience. since they never seem to update the order status customer service is completely powerless as well. you just sit down and wait and pray your 5 articles of food actually get there

On the expensive side but didn't expect any different. Parking is a nightmare as always busy. Wish they still sold clothing

I bought some Habitat pillows from the Tun Wells store. On the packaging they were described as firm, but on opening they were so soft my head diappeared right into the pillows! - so they were actually soft! Althougth the pillows felt firm in the unopened packaging it was the added air that made them feel firm! I had my receipt so took them back to the East Grinstead store expecting a refund as the product was not as described on the packaging! A young man with a badge saying Manager on it came to speak to me! From the get go he was unhelpful and just kept repeating that the store policy is not to accept returned bedding and that I should ring the customer care line! Not sure how the customer care line could help as they wouldn't be able to see the pillows over the phone! He just repeated this over and over and over again! All the time he was doing this he was smirking at me which made me feel like he viewed me as a silly old woman! I told him this and asked him to stop smirking at me! I know my consumer rights and if a product is not as stated on the packaging then the customer is legally entitled to a refund! Doesn't matter what the store policy is, that is the law! In the end he asked if I would like to speak to another member of staff, so I said yes as he'd been very unhelpful! A more experienced looking female member of staff came and she was much more helpful! She said although the company policy is not to accept returned bedding she would refund me! She said to the lady on the customer services counter to please refund me as the pillows were not firm! Why the young man couldn't have done this without causing such a hoo ha I have no idea! All the time this was happening I had the store security standing 2 metres away watching me, which made me feel like a criminal! The final insult was to have another young male tell me he didn't like the way I had spoken to the other male member of staff! I asked him who he was and he said he works in the store! I told him I didn't need a lecture from him on how to speak to people and please could he go away! - I had been firm and knew my consumer rights, but I hadn't sworn at the first man or threatened him! Nor had I made personal comments other than to say as he is half my age so please could he show some respect and stop smirking at me! I repeatedly said that I did not want to speak to the customer services line as I knew that the store had to legally refund me as the product is not as described and therefore is faulty - I had to keep repeating this with increasing firmness as the young male was not litstening! He just kept repeating his 'comapny line' to ring the customer care line like he had read it on a script! I did not need the additional onslaught from the other male, who presumably is his friend! I am guessing the two males are fast track graduates whereas the older more experienced lady has worked her way up! Five stars for her and the lady on the customer service desk, null points for the young male 'managers' who I suggest get sent on a course to teach them consumer law and how to speak to older female customers with respect! As always, it's all down to the person! Some people are helpful and some are not! As an additonal comment another customer - an older lady - commented in passing that 'those pillows are definitely not firm!' What WAS firm was me standing my ground, knowing my consumer rights and not giving in to being treated like a silly old woman by a man half my age!
