The shop is great and the staff are friendly. The food isn?t worth the money to be honest. We were gifted some vouchers after having a new child recently and stocked up the freezer with cook food. Everyone told us how great the food would be. So far we?ve had the cottage pie and Thai curries, both have been average at best and I very much doubt I will buy from them again unless I am given free vouchers as a gift.

I just ordered through Just - Eat with them. Was sad that it was quite late and had left a scathing review when we thought it had just been left. 20mins later we had someone come to the door with a bottle of wine and the most amazing quality food with them. Very much appreciated and wish we could change our review on Just-Eat but cannot. Ideally we wish it wasn't late in the first place but I appreciate that errors can occur. Thanks again for the delicious food.

I fancied a calzone pizza. I wouldn't normally order from Marco's, but the reviews seemed positive. So I ordered, waited and it arrived on time. However, when I got it in the kitchen it smelled burnt.....I opened the box and there it was.....burnt calzone. I was famished, so I ate 1/3rd of the less burnt portion. My wife wasn't impressed and called to complain. To her utter astonishment, she was told that all calzone pizza has a "slightly" burnt top due to cooking the ingredients inside properly. I have eaten a fair number of calzone pizzas and have NEVER come across this argument before. It's either cooked/undercooked or burnt. This was burnt. In addition, the pizza dough was some kind of pre-processed fluffy concoction that didn't add to the experience. Overall, it's a 1 from me and please Mr Marco, tell it how it is......and it isn't supposed to be burnt. Please find a link to a good recipe that isn't burnt.....

Very helpful staff and clean pleasant shop. Love the meals for one as you can basically eat out every night, at home! And now with the Click and Collect during the lockdown, very handy. Staff friendly and helpful. Great service. Really enjoy the meals. Would recommend it.
