“Emma made a fabulous wedding dress for my daughter Alex. It was a pleasurable experience from start to finish. Emma made us feel welcome from the moment we entered her beautiful shop. Nothing is too much trouble. Emma’s dresses are bespoke from start to finish and the fabrics and designs she creates are amazing. You see your wedding dress being created right before your eyes. My other daughter Fran is getting married this year. Needless to say, Emma was the only choice.”

“One of the finest stores still in the whole of East Grinstead. Many may try to say the old Bookshop is the crown jewel in the High Street, hands down. It isn't. Maybe takes second or third place on the interior at best. Their bookshop beams and old ships timbers pale into insignificance compared to those bigger examples of the Broadley Bros old timbers. This is the most beautiful interior of a store arguably in the town shopping area.The store is a good upmarket stockist of a large number of well known designer type brands. It is the place I always aspired to shop within as a young person growing up in East Grinstead Town in the seventies and eighties. Great helpful staff here. Sadly no longer doing so much rentals of suits these days as in past years. Rented suits from there were probably the best most high quality ones I will ever wear.Really good shop in the heart of Historic Old East Grinstead. My mum I recall loved this shop. And loved to take me in there to get things for many years.”

“It is undeniably a very nice store. Very upmarket design and layout. Immaculately presented stock. Vibrant ranges. It is just that I'm terribly old fashioned, and these days there's little in this store for me. I recently went in there having occasion to take a spare minute, while waiting for a bus. Very nice pleasant few minutes. I looked for a bag like they used to do a few years back ago in there, but sadly they had nothing like it any longer. I asked and the very kind shop lady was helpful in showing me what stock they did have. I thought she was a very good shop worker. It is a good shop there and popular with many younger folks I do know.”

“This Superdrug is always well stocked and clean! But most importantly the staff are always happy to help and are so kind! Especially Laila whose smile always makes my day and she’s always up for a chat and a laugh!”

“The quality of FatFace clothing is unmatched. Their cotton rich products especially are fabulous - I’ve got a couple of long sleeve t-shirts and a jersey dress that I love wearing. Their children line is also unique - great patterns and designs. My little one has a denim jacket, a few zipped hoodies, swimming costumes, t-shirts, cotton dungaree and more. Prices are a bit steep, but they do frequent sales so I usually buy and stop at the shop around sale times. You can also find shoes and accessories like bags, scarves, hairbands, jewellery, mugs and more.”

“Phoned on the 29th asked to speak to Bella. As she knew what i was after however the girl on said Bella wasnt in which didnt bother me as would go in monday the 30th January which i did asked Bella if she was okay whilst asking what i was after and she was in the day before i dont like asking some of the staff as i have disabilities and they look at me as if ti say why are u shopping here but Bella is always helpful and polite and goes out of her way to help.”
