Second time in a row they've been unable to fulfil a pre-booked appointment. Don't seem to care that I've travelled and paid a deposit to be told they have to cancel. Been a customer for years, but not anymore

I?m not one for writing bad reviews so emailed before hand on so they had chance to correct it but was ignored so here we are, Before booking my appointment I enquired about pink extensions for my Dutch braids, I was reassured this was possible so went ahead and booked it. I got to the salon early at 4:00pm (my appointment was at 4:30pm) & was told my stylist was running behind so it would be another thirty minutes, that?s fine as my appointment Is at 4:30 so 30mins would be at my actual appointment time- not the case at all I was sat there for an hour and 15 mins nothing even started till 5:15pm to which I was then told they had no pink extensions ( to which it took it took them just over an hour to realise as they asked what I wanted when I entered & I told them that i wanted Dutch braids with pink extensions) so I ended up just having brown, but as the stylist was running behind she completely entirely rushed my service, it took less then half the time it did last time and this time my braids were much much longer.Whilst sat getting my hair done a few women came into enquire about extensions & were fully ignored , not even acknowledged which Is quite frankly rude.Another stylist ( the only one that spoke fluent English) charged me for the full service before it was done as she decided she wanted to leave- the same stylist told me i couldn?t have enquired by email because there wasn?t one. She was also on her phone 90% of the time I was there.In all honesty the only reason I came in was for the pink braids for a special occasion, that?s the only reason I went to the salon as in all honesty I could have done the brown ones myself ( with the extensions I bought with me) just as well as they were done. I couldn?t even complain as my stylist didn?t understand the simplest English, I was left overall extremely disappointed and believed I?m entitled to a full refund as the service was not as reassured & it was entirely rushed.

Really disappointed with the cancellation policy. I was very unwell with covid and they couldn?t make an exception and just carry over my booking to another date after paying a £32 deposit. Staff didn?t really seem to care, said I needed a doctors note that I had covid - despite it being a Saturday and the surgery being closed, could not even wait until Monday for me to sort something out. I understand this is policy - but I think if you want returning customers, you would at least put some value in them wanting to rebook and return to you. Last time I went, was early but appointment was 45 minutes late, owner who was doing my hair was on hold to her bank (loudspeaker) for an hour and proceeded to speak ill of customers who rang up whilst I was in there. I won?t be returning and I wouldn?t recommend this place to anyone.
