A gem of a hotel near Gatwick airport. Would highly suggest choosing this place over any airport hotel. It?s a beautiful English cottage with all the coziness and friendliness of a small village town/people. Cannot rave enough about the staff, the food, the room, the linens, the atmosphere! Don?t think twice!
Comes with breakfast included with your stay, and it?s a beautiful menu. Dinner menu is also wonderful with options and food quality was bang on.
They also offer a take away continental breakfast if you can?t make it in time for breakfast which is amazing for an airport service hotel.
Wish I could stay longer. Will definitely stay here again. Thanks to everyone who works there, you were all beautiful.

Very welcoming and friendly staff. Excellent service. Nothing was too much trouble. As we were leaving early in the mornings, they made us up an amazing continental breakfast. Beer was spot on - very well kept tasty pint. Room was clean with a huge comfy bed. Would recommend. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you

We stayed here as it is close to Gatwick Airport, the pub is great being only 5'8 myself even i had to duck near the front of the pub. The pub is great and the staff are super friendly. Local beer was also great, as was the food.
Our room was brill, and the bed was massive, mattress was firm which I liked.
I would definitely stay again and I think this is now our place to stay if flying from Gatwick.

What a fantastic weekend for my mother in laws 90th birthday, we also stayed here as well , great evening meal for 23 of us on Saturday, then 20 of us for Sunday lunch , I can't speak highly enough of all the staff without exception, they were all so good and welcoming , nothing was to much trouble , and all the food was excellent,one of the best breakfast I've had for a long time in an hotel, we will be back, thanks guys Phil

We arrived at night after a flight back to Gatwick airport and were dealt with by the night porter who went above and beyond to make us welcome and even found us some refreshments which were very much appreciated. The room was lovely and spacious with a very comfortable bed. I would recommend their "full English breakfast" which was wonderful and cooked to perfection. The 2 breakfast staff were very friendly and lovely ladies, and one even spent time explaining the history of the beautiful old pub. I would honestly recommend this place, and I will definitely stay here again if in the area. After having breakfast and looking around the pub and at the menu I was annoyed that we hadnt arrived earlier the previous night as the dining area and food selections are great, but hopefully there will be a next time.
Rooms: Comfortable, quiet and spacious rooms with drink making facilities and good en-suite bathroom

Superb stay. Service was above and beyond. Rooms were spotless and HUGE. Food amazing.
Nice extra touches with good quality - cafetiere in room, bottled water. Condiments were Stokes Ketchup, Tiptree Jams. The second night we wanted to leave early at 4am so they made us a pack-up to go. So thoughtful and so attentive to our needs.
Would I book here again? That's a big fat YES. Well Done to all the staff that really did go above and beyond to meet our needs. If I could give an extra star I certainly would.

An interesting place with some very old parts (historically!) Comfortable, well appointed rooms, excellent food and drink, ample parking and a friendly, cheerful team to look after us. Very convenient for Gatwick for pre or post flights. A really enjoyable stay.
Food and drinks: Excellent Sunday lunch served until evening. Well kept beer and a sensible wine list.
