Southern Counties (SC) came to our home in 2020 when my wife became too ill to look after herself properly, I had two young children so the help was a god send. I was sceptical at first as I had heard terrible stories about care agencies. Mary the owner came to see us and I could see from the outset that she really cared about her job. As the weeks went by the relationship with Mary and my wife became very strong, then Mary introduced her daughter who also worked for SC. They are both lwonderful people who care passionately about their patients.It was lovely to hear them chat and regularly burst into laughter with my wife, who loved having them visit everyday. Throughout my wife's illness they continued to come but we also had other employees look after my wife when they were not available. All of them were genuinely nice people. They became party of our family over the two years they cared for my wife, and in that time they never let us down. I will always be grateful to Mary and her team for making my wife's life more bearable by treating her with such compassion and loving care. They were very professional and always brought any issues straight to my attention so we could get it treated. They would often stay at the end of their appointment and have a coffee and a chat with my wife in their own time. I can't really praise them enough.After my wife passed away Mary and her daughter were extremely supportive. They both attended my wife's funeral because I saw them as family. A couple of months after her passing I got a call from Mary asking how myself and the kids were doing. She also came round with her daughter to visit me and we revisited some nice memories of their time with my wife. I'm writing this review because I hope that you choose SC's to look after your cherished family member as they are an amazingly caring company. I will always be grateful for what they did for my wife and us ad a family.

Excellent service from carers, but they should be paid more for their invaluable work. They always arrived on time with a smile! I had an accident, aged 62, and had to have personal care at home for a few weeks.

I was caring for my terminaly ill mother, and it was becoming progressively difficult. The carers who came in to help wash and dress her were wonderful. They were very caring and gentle with her. They cheered her up, and we could often hear them laughing together. Thank you to all those involved with her care.

My sister wanted to die at home with her family and friends present. Southern Counties Caring attended her three times a day from Easter to her last day in August. She was very comfortable with the personal care she received and we found all the carers professional and tuned to her needs. I cannot say one negative thing and know that we couldn't have coped without them

My husband Alan Wells had Clive and Alex as his carers they were fantastic also the staff in the office we're great anything we wanted they arranged it for him. they made Alan's last month with us great. I have rated a 5 star but wish there were more as they disserve every one of them

My wife required 24hr palliative care towards the end, and this was provided by Southern Counties Caring. They never let me down with staffing and my wife was never without a competent carer. They were capable of lifting my wife from the bed via the overhead hoist and administering food, medicine and hydration via my wife's PEG. Record keeping was also a priority for the carers. They even provided a continuity of care during the final days when my wife was transferred to the hospice.

We have been over the moon with the care Dad has received from SCC. From the very first phone call, to meeting the management and then the amazing carers everything has been superb. Couldn't wish for better.

SCC carers were wonderful as my Dad chose his end of life to be at home. Respectful and kind to him, he had the same carers who helped him with laughter and dignity. The office staff were also very efficient. Took a lot of pressure off our family. Thank you.

I have been using this agency since September to help care for my wife , who has dementia. We have had the same carer at every visit and I cannot speak too highly of her. She is caring, empathetic, helpful and adjusts to the mood of her client. I am so happy with the service provided that I have now doubled the weekly hours.

Mum has received great care from all the carers she?s met. If there has been a problem, someone has been on the end of a phone and has rectified it quickly. The carers are great at forming relationships and really do seem to care.
