Rang them today (friday) for a parcel that should have been delivered in Manchester on Wednesday! They told me that it was up in manchester and due for deliver... only for me to call Royal Mail CS to find it is still in Gatwick! Utter and total shambolic service! How can something sit in a depot when on 24hr delivery for 3 days and then I have to wait another 6 days before classed as lost!

Awaiting an item from amazon that should've arrived yesterday (24hr) delivery, it arrived at Gatwick Depot at 2:46 yesterday morning, and it's still there, why?

Absolutely useless. Recently I have had several parcels and letter arrive late. I'm now waiting on a parcel that has been sitting at Gatwick MC for over 2 days. Judging by the other reviews I'm in for a long wait before it will eventually show up.

I have sent parcel next day by 1pm however parcel still shows that it is at the Post Office. After speaking to the Postmaster at the Post Office I was told that he remembers me posting it and also remembers handing my parcel to post man who was taking parcels to Gatwick Royal Mail Centre. However my parcel was never scanned there and after contacting them directly they deny any responsibility as parcel was never scanned by them.AVOID at any cost!!!

I ve been tracking my parcel it arrived at Gatwick on the 4th of January it's now the 16th meant to be 48 hour tracked and still no idear when I will receive it,this isn't the first time I've been let down but royal mail,it took quicker coming from Spain ,than it has for royal mail to get it to me from Gatwick to Crawley,appalling service

Useless, not fit for purpose, unable to deliver on time, unable to deliver, rude staff, lazy.Companies should stop using The Royal Mail to deliver parcels. It is obvious from all the recent reviews that the Royal Mail are no longer fit to be trusted to deliver. Their core role!

Appalling service. I?d advise everyone to not order from anywhere using Royal Mail especially the lead up to Christmas. Had an item there since the 9th and medication that was tracked 24 and it?s been 4 days already.

Seems like everyone else. My parcel was supposed to be delivered last wed 6th Dec .But instead went back to gatwick. And this is where it says it is still. A week later on my tracker.Yet after many attempts of ringing. I finally get an answer saying, the parcel has gone back to my hometown post office..which it hasnt as i rang them also.Still its showing its at gatwick. Im suspicious whats going on.Customer services were not helpful.So now im having to take it further up the line. For an investigation.Im shocked however with the royal mail. If you cant trust them to deliver..who can you trust.A terrible service all round.

Waiting more then two weeks and the parcel i order on ebay it s been missing and on the tracking shows it on the Gatwick hub!!!no answer on any phone numbers!!!

I hate leaving bad reviews but it's just time after time after time that the Royal Mail fails to deliver. I ordered an Amazon prime next day delivery on friday that I needed for today. It is now Sunday, and I've been informed by customer service (who were very nice and professional I must add) that it may be delivered anywhere from tomorrow to two Tuesdays time. I don't understand how this is acceptable. I've had special birthday items take weeks after the expected delivery date to arrive despite paying for speedy delivery, credit cards lost in the post ether and other replacements taking over a week to arrive. Tracking often shows 24-hour and first class packages are just stuck for days on end here. It's just not okay, and I'm so disappointed with the service. If I had known this item was delivered by royal mail I would have sought the item elsewhere. I will make sure to check in future.
