At checkout today I had an unpleasant experience. The shop employee directed the customer in front of me to one till and immediately directed me to the next. I quickly walked to mine and when I was just about to scan my item the previous costumer started to clame that till to himself, saying he was there first. I explained to him - or tried to - that I went were I was told and he was told to go to another till. What happened was that ehile he was walking to his pointed till, a shop employee decided to use it to check for something. It's not my fault that this happened. If it's someone's fault it was the shop employee that cut the customer off his designated till. It was not a big deal to cause any disturbance but the customer was clearly upset... with me! Telling me I should be ashamed of myself. Over and over. Wile I was trying to explain that I did nothing wrong or had perception of such, he was showing signs of desiring to offend me as a person. The store employees stood there and did nothing.

I went to self service i had a problem with one of my items not scanning so called the young lady who was so rude she literally picked my stuff up and threw it down and cleared the self service and walked away so angrily!! I think some of ur staff need teaching manners!!

It shouldn't be called the Poundshop anymore, more like just the shop, so many different prices it's easy to be misled and buy something thinking it's a pound and it's not, but a very big shop, lots of variety and choice, some value to be found here, it's worth a visit but check your prices is all I'll say.

Staff short change you in here and when I left a message on the voicemail to contact me regarding this I appeared to be ignored so my refund I never got when the cashier scanned an item I said I didn't need anymore. And when I got home I checked my receipt which shows the refund was not made

In this branch the customer is ALWAYS WRONG. The lack of customer skills is apawling. Without any rudeness towards the employees, you are treated with contempt. Price on the till was charging (a lot) more and i pointed it out with good manners. Get a suspicious behavior, the employees instead of paying attention to it just refuse to hear and turning their backs to the customer without a word exchange call someone else saying outloud "SHE (CUSTOMER) IS SAYING ITS NOT RIGHT BUT I DID 50% OFF". First of all the issue is not the customer, but the price tag. What the emplyee should say to its superior is to mention that, not the customer's as if they were in the wrong. Second and vital: Its wrong to mention a customer by gender, to start with. Shows lack of professionalism or respect specially when said in a tone of voice as if they were wrong and just being a pain. All i did with peliteness was call their attention abouy 4 items labeled under £1 could not cost over £4. Instead of doing this simple math kids in school can easily spot, they doubt you and insist they are right. I didnt even touched the items, i let the employee do the scanning so that nothing would be wrong. Its not the first or third time such thing happens. Its becoming very unpleasent. In the end they finally gor the price right and again they turn their backs without even a nice "I apologize". Yacks! Customer should not have to be left feeling they did something wrong or treated with no respect. The employees act like those monkey figurines: covering their eyes, mouth and ears to the costumer's presence and issue. Please give propper training to get a nice customer service. I am going to avoid shopping i here.

Ive had on multiple occasions the tills charge more than the price shown on the shelves but today 2 different staff expected me to pay more than the shown price. Also they dont open all of thier self serve tills for no good reason
