We recently paid a visit and bought a gerbil for our children.
Althought the staff were very good at letting the children hokd a couple of animals and gave a good service.
They asked if we would like them to give us a call after a couple of days to see how the new gerbil is settling in, which we said yes to, but never received that call.
Everyhing else was fine lots of choice for various pets and accessories and foods etc.
Thy even have their own vet upstairs with plenty of other products to browse.

Shop always has what you need and the staff are all pleasant and helpful, just stay away from the vets practice upstairs.

Staff were so kind and helpful to us in preparing for our rescue dog to come home. The amazing staff member we spoke to had the same breed so gave us lots of insight and the next visit when we took our dog in, he was again helpful and very lovely to put anxious pup. I am pleased to have such a good facility close to home

We bought our first pet (COOKIE) from pets at home . The staff was very friendly and gave all the informations about the Hamster and helped as to pick all the necessary items for our Hamster .

Terrible care of animals. None of them care about animals,they only care about money. All animals are from animal Mills,and are malnourished,injured and anxious. They don't care about the animals welfare,and sell COUNTLESS unsafe stuff. They are ABUSIVE. I saw a literal 4 week old hamster (POSSIBLY YOUNGER) being sold. The wheels,cages,and basically everything they sell is overpriced and unsafe.

Not great supply of live insects. They have loads of crickets in one size. No locusts and no dubia roaches. All the times I've gone there's been atleast one box with all dead bugs in. Not good and unethical. Multiple boxes with atleast 20 dead bugs and only 2 alive

Decent shop but livestock for lizards is poor quality. Not good value for money, often dead sometimes your only getting 3-4 bugs left alive in tubs and they are never discounted down or checked whilst on shelf. Assistants still want to charge you £2.90 for a full tub.
