Disgusting staff and liars, I had to visit the branch to answer some delicate private questions about my account which I was happy to and was told on the phone I could do in private if I visited the branch so I attended and when I arrived at 16.05 the deputy manager was at the front desk so I showed her my email showing 2 of the transactions I had to explain plus other transactions she then said go to the cashiers for them to look at the transactions I said to the deputy manager I didn?t really want to do this as privacy as I had a lot of things to explain as nationwide probably thought I was money laundering as I was paying in cash a lot so had a lot to explain but the deputy branch manager said she was short staffed so couldn?t take me in a private cubicle to talk through transactions but it was because there was only 20 minutes before closing I knew this she didn?t seem bothered to help me so I reluctantly went to the cashiers who then started to go through my transactions but I noticed a queue behind me so felt uncomfortable and it was a privacy issue so I didn?t like the situation especially as when I turned around and could see the deputy branch manager and another member of staff by the front desk at the door just chatting so I just said to the cashier can I have have my card and phone back with the details of the information the bank required as I was prepared to talk about my private details with people hearing my business, so as I left the bank I said to the deputy manager it?s terrible service and you couldn?t be bothered to take me in a private cubicle as it?s almost closing time and you couldn?t be bothered to help me and I walked out, I then left the branch angry and disappointed and still didn?t solve my problem, so I decided to make a complaint about how I was treated by having to discuss my private transactions in front of people and how lazy the deputy branch manager was to not help me especially when I see her and another lady talking doing nothing, after I made my complaint I received a response saying the deputy branch manager had said I was rude aggressive and swore that?s why she couldn?t take me into a cubicle which is a lie I didn?t swear or was I aggressive I was annoyed with the service and having to discuss a private matter in front of people and also 2 colleagues of the deputy branch manager did a statement saying I was rude when I wasn?t, I wasn?t happy but at no point did I swear so all 3 staff members including the deputy branch manager has lied, when I made the complaint I asked for cctv to be looked at as I knew I did nothing wrong and funny by the time the complaint got looked at 28 days had gone so was no cctv, I have and will battle to complain against this as I can?t believe staff can treat people like this and then lie about it after, I?m so disappointed In Nationwide as I have been with them in over 17 years now.

The Crawley branch staff are great! I had a situation with my credit card and couldn?t find a way to solve it. After going the Crawley branch within a few days I had my situation solved and I was even compensated for my disappointment. This was all down to the team there going above and beyond to make sure I was happy and my credit card account was all ok.

Had the most amazing service at my local branch -Crawley. I popped into query an issues with sending payments. The young girl quickly released that I didn?t have the right info & made a huge effort to help me and support me! Thank you very much

Common ThievesThe worst Bank ever ...The worst branch ever .....Do not open any account .The staff is unhelpful .They suspend my daughter's account without a reason and preventing access to her money ......2 Days now nobody gave us a reason why !!!3rd Day I am speaking with the Brunch ....nobody gave a solution to the problem that they created .They opened the account and they accepted my daughter's documentation!!!!!!But after 2 and a half months they decided that the proof of address was not ok ......and without any update they suspended the account and my daughter doesn't have access to her own money !!!!!!..... I asked them to realise the money because it was not their money and they refused .....The answer was that she had to wait !!!!!When she asked how many days they answered they didn't know ....She tries to give them from the morning proofs of address and they don't accept proofs of local government documentation,proofs from DWP ,proofs from the universal credits also Home office decisions that she is provided to them ......Does anyone understand what is happening and how a Building Society can steal your money away from you. The freedom to have your money !!!!! Common thieves away from them far far away from them

I had to go into my local Nationwide building society on Wednesday afternoon after l had trouble withdrawing some money from the Southgate post office ATM card machine. it declined my card twice even those l knew l had money ? in the account. l went over to the Nationwide building society because l needed some money urgently a lady called Hannah was very helpful to me when l was so stressed out that afternoon l did eventually get my money out in the Nationwide building society.
