Took my car here for an MOT as it ran out while my car was at a local specialist for a period of time. Kwik Fit failed it on a cut in a tyre down to cords and excessive play on rear ball joint with advisories on all other tyres.
Next day took it to my trusted local independent garage 2 hours away where I live. Pass. No issues with tyres and play in the ball joint is so minor it was barely an advisory.
Very angry as the fail stays on its record

Booked my car in at 8.30am for a brake test, I didn't get my car back until 5pm. They sanded down the breaks and did a tyre change. I feel like my breaks are worse than before, added to that I have a new problem whereby there is a metal rattling noise as if something is loose under the car. Took it back the next day and they cannot find a problem. I never had this problem with the car before... Be prepared to wait all day for your car, have to chase for updates etc and new problems to arise.. prices are in line with expectations.
