This was totally not what I was expecting. The food was fantastic and I left wanting to try the entire menu. We had the spaghetti bolognas, pizza and a tuna sandwich with fries. Everything was 10 out of 10

Love it, Great Serive and always the best burgers I've ever had, and now we just had one of the beat pizza's we've ever tasted! If I could give 10 stars I would.

We came here on Tuesday after a long journey, I've only just started recovering from the food poisoning I suffered from this restaurant.
The staff were friendly hence the extra star but we will definitely not be returning if we're in the area again

This place is going downhill rapidly. On previous visits the food has started to taste a bit bland but perfectly edible. Unfortunately the breakfast I had last week was terrible. Cheap low quality ingredients now being used and a very small serving with hard poached egg, cold mushrooms, soggy toast, burnt baked beans, that had clearly been in the microwave too long and the sausage described as Cumberland was cheap and nasty and definitely not Cumberland. The bacon and hash brown were ok.
I should have taken it back but a) there was a queue and b) the male server seemed quite passive aggressive when he delivered the food.
When I left I told the 2 staff the breakfast was disgusting and by then there had been a change in staff. The new male server was apologetic, however no partial refund was offered.
It did appear that the cook has no idea how to actually cook or present food as I saw the customer on the table next to me leave most of his food and leave quite quickly.
I won't use this cafe again. I'd rather go to La Rusta and pay another pound or so more for better quality ingredients and larger portions.

Not sure what?s happened to this place, seems to have lost its way! Just spent nearly £100 for four of us and have to say it was so poor! That?s restaurant pricing but they dump a tray on the table with cutlery (not enough for 4) you then have to get up and go and find pepper & salt! We had avocado and poached egg on toast? you get hard boiled eggs with one slice of bread and a smear of avocado, with the worst dollop of pesto sauce I?ve tasted! Quite frankly it was crap, add in the fact we ordered a bottle of wine that tasted like £4 for £26 served with no ice bucket, it?s like being at IKEA self service. Quality zero, value zero? however the chap on the till was good. Would we go here again or recommend? a definite NO. They seriously need to sort them selves out. I?m sure if you want just a cup tea or coffee then fine but food????

My wife and I stopped here for lunch, and found the food really good.
I had the carbonara - it was really tasty, but more British take on carbonara than authentic (contains cream, and doesn't contain guanciale) - but I would have it again.
My wife had the mac & cheese and said it was great.

Not busy, plenty of staff, but 30 minute wait for a simple panini. Had to ask for the table to be wiped down as had remnants of the last diners meal.
