Visiting family in the area we stopped here for lunch at 11:45am on 23rd October 2023. Being a regular Greggs customer in our home town we were expecting the same standards of food and service. On receiving a steak bake and steak pastie we were shocked to discover our "hot food" was stone cold. I went to the counter to let them know. I said excuse me to the staff member (a young chap) who was close by and explained that my food was cold. Another lady then interjected and rudely told me that there was a sign on the display that says that food may not be hot as they are not hot counters. She said that it depended on how long the food has sat there as to whether they were warm at all. She was extremely rude and abrupt with me. She basically told me it was my fault and that I should know not to expect hot food. I was hoping that they may at least offer to warm it up in the microwave but no I just got told that they didn't have the turn over and that was that. I was shocked by how rude the staff were. After, I looked at the counter and could see no such sign. All I could see was a sign that said freshly baked products may be hot, not that food may be cold. I took a photo of the display to see if I had missed something which I hadn't. The only other sign was one on the counter that had information about the baguettes. In all the many years of visiting many different Greggs up and down the country, I have never once had stone cold food. I would have accepted the explanation if it had come with an apology or without such a rude delivery. I will certainly never return to this particular Greggs again. Not the usual standard of service, this team really needs training in customer service.

We visit this Greggs a lot. The staff are always friendly and the food is always nice. the place is clean and you can usually find a seat to eat in if you go at the right time. We will continue to go here. The prices are reasonable too.

Just popped in for vegan sausage rolls, special offer buy 3 get one free?.very tasty, had to queue, staff wearing masks, maybe a little more friendliness , ie hello, thank you and goodbye would improve service

Visited 26/3/22 around 1300 hrs. Greggs queensway Crawley was offering a special, coffee and a sausage roll for £2,50. I ordered this along with a slice of pizza. When the assistant told me the price I questioned her asking was the discount applied to the sausage roll and coffee deal. I was told no it did not put it on as the coffee was shown with the pizza. I asked her to change and put it with the sausage roll. I was told this was not possible as the till chooses. She refused to change to the offer. I left without buying the products. Disgusting.

The lady who served me was rude and arrogant and after I requested to get a large coffee not a medium she told me hard luck as she pushed the button on the machine i will not come back as she has no regard for the customer paying for the product and I hope you deal with her accordingly!!!! She also coved her badge so I couldn?t get her name what a joke I won?t be back with our business ever again and I have notified my manager so he won?t either

I understand it is tough times for the employees, but seriously how can they keep getting orders wrong. Out of 5 orders placed over the last few months only 1 has been full and correct. Missing items, wrong items seem to be consistent. Useless.

Hooray for Greggs. Good to have it reopened again following lockdown. No queues when I visited, sausage rolls and steak bake a plenty, nice and hot too.
