As a shop and the staff, they were very helpful, but as a company, our experience was extremely poor .never order anything from them online as they use a very questionable delivery companyWho lost one of our wedding rings a week before we were due to fly out to get married so we have to choose a different ring which they had and collected from the store

We were contacted to extend our insurance cover for a necklace. On examination, a defect in the clasp was discovered. It has been repaired and cleaned, and looks good as new.First class service from all the team at the Crawley branch. Many thanks!

John, what a salesman! You walk in, greeted and you feel welcome. I was looking to purchase a new watch for myself, and I did. There was 4 watches that I liked, and was probably contemplating for a good hour, but he didn?t rush me or anything. I couldn?t fault him at all and will definitely ask for him to serve me in the future. Free beer too! But honestly, if you want anything ask for John. He knows everything you need to know about watches, any questions you have, he can answer them.Thank you for your 20/10 customer service & hope to deal with you again soon!

I recently bought a watch here. Lily was amazing. She was able to get in 3 for me to look at which I couldn?t find anywhere else including at the manufacturer?s boutique. She also took care of the financing aspect so I was able to take it away in the day.Lily took care of everything and really made sure I could get the watch I wanted. Thanks again Lily.

We?ve been a goldsmiths customer for 12+ years and highly recommend them for all aspects of jewellery services/repairs. George is an absolute legend of goldsmiths and we knew him at the Sutton branch so to find him at Crawley after Sutton closed we where extremely happy and continue our watch and jewellery services with George at this Goldsmiths branch.

Came in today to buy myself a new watch. John was incredibly helpful and very very knowledgable.Not once did I feel like I was trying to be upsold anything, there was a genuine sense of making sure I got the right watch for me. Brilliant service. And left very happy with my purchase!Highly recommend to all!

I visited Goldsmiths as one of the diamonds had fallen out of my engagement ring. I went into the store and they were busy. After standing around a while a pleasant young Sales Assistant attempted to help but as she was new she didn't really know what our options were for repairing the ring as my now husband bought it 10 years ago and we are not in possession of the receipt. She asked another Sales Assistant who was visibly stressed and snappy. The young Sales Assistant took my number and advised she would call when they were less busy, which they did. We did a detour back to the store which had gotten busy again. I stood there for a long period of time before a different Sales Assistant named Sal approached us and in a patronising manner told me that they can assess the ring to see if the diamond falling out was a manufacturer's issue but not without the receipt. Apparently, I was told that there would be no cover (watch out for this as I was told there was a 10 year guarantee when we bought the ring, but apparently this doesn't cover repairs). I asked whether Goldsmiths would be able to identify the ring as one of theirs that was sold 9 - 10 ago. I was told no, as other jewellers could sell the same item. It's a shame that my husband wanted to buy a quality ring from Goldsmiths because apparently the same items are sold at a variety of other jewellers (and could have likely bought a cheaper ring, this one was £1200). So I spent a lot of time in the store to be told that they refused to even look at it without a receipt. No apology for being messed around and wasting our time calling us back to the store (I had already advised that I dont have a receipt) I was spoken to in a way that made me feel like I am a shifty character that could be trying it on rather than a customer who had spent a large amount on an engagement ring and is very distressed to not have it on my finger. Alot of emphasis on selling you "luxury" items in this store and harping on about the quality of the diamonds and 10 year guarantees but when your engagement ring falls apart they tell you that they cant tell if it's a Goldsmiths item without a receipt! Disgusting service for a store specialising in Engagement/Wedding rings that are meant to be worn for life! I have bought a fair few items from this store over the years and after this experience never would again. This particular Sales Assistant was patronising and rude, refusing to even apologise for the fact I had wasted my time in the store blaming the issue on their new Sales Asst who had more manners than anyone else I encountered in the store. I will pay for the repair myself in a private jeweller rather than risk walking into a Goldsmiths store again!

If i could go any lower i would. Horrible customer service - if you're expecting any classy treatment from this store you won't find any, especially from the manager samanthaSave your £££ and go elsewhere!
