My latest visit has seen rooms renovated! They're nice albeit very tight. It seems the rooms have been made smaller in the renovation, but they're nice and refreshing. Reception and restaurant staff were very helpful and friendly as always. Good job to the management!Previous reviews, below:Typical British hotel. Old, worn, dark passages, small rooms and British TV which seems stuck in the 80's. I've seen the same repeat shows over the last 15 years. Even the new shows are old style 80's quiz shows and variety specials. Nothing fresh in any way. I didn't eat in the hotel but a colleague told me his meal w mediocre at best and room service was dismal. Not even close to other crowne plaza hotels around the world in any respect. UK hotels are lightyears behind so many 3 world countries in terms of quality and service. DisappointingAnother stay and all of the above is still true. The wifi is so bad it's almost like not having any. Had breakfast this trip which was OK. The restaurant staff was very friendly and attentive actually. Reception staff were very helpful.Once again I am here for a visit (company choice not mine). The housekeeping staff are super rude and don't even make way to pass on the hallway.

Hotel is well decorated and comfortable. The rooms are well equipped apart from no sockets or USB ports by the beds, at least in the room we stayed in. There is a £12 parking charge per night which doesn't sit well, but then we were given a drinks voucher on arrival which made up for that, to a degree. All in all an enjoyable stay.

Came in to use a conference room which my company had organised. The room was cold, refreshments we not pleasant. At lunchtime the manager called Ashveer was very rude and would not let us sit at the lunch tables of our choice. He said they were reserved for other people, whom had their lunch break 45mins after us. Poor customer service, he is very rude in communication and makes your hotel look bad. I would never recommend this hotel or stay here if this is how I am going to be treated.

Biggest thank you goes to Matia and Ash who worked miracles for us! We unfortunately had an issue at work that meant we were unable to access our building and meant we were without a training room for 2 groups of 20 delegates. After a frantic 7am phone call on Thursday, Matia was able to confirm that there was availability and we could hold the training courses at the Crowne Plaza hotel. Ash and Matia very quickly put together 2 rooms for us, delegates arrived and we started the courses off without a hitch.Thank you so much for accommodating us and to Jenni Forrest for assisting in making it happen. Thank you!

Arrived here for an overnight stay before flying from Gatwick. The restaurant and bar area is nice, Standard rooms are small but comfortable. Breakfast was a good standard with lots of options. We were originally told they had upgraded our room, we went to our room to find the lights did not work. We were left in reception for approximately 45 minutes while 2 members of staff went up and down to our room multiple times, we were not really informed of what was happening, they then told us they had to move us rooms, so we went to retrieve our suitcases and were moved to a lower floor and put in to a standard room, Which was what we had paid for, but we were not told this before we were moved... I suppose the hotel staff did their best, but the communication could have been better, by this time I just wanted to go to bed, and as said everything else was ok.

Here for a business trip, used the meeting room and lunch. Room was very dark, the floor unstable (trip hazard) probably need a new floor. Food was very good. The staff around the dining area in particular (Ashveer) was not very friendly/polite looking. Stayed there like a security guard made us feel a little uncomfortable especilly when make us sit in one corner fully packed on two tables when there were plenty of other tables were left empty throughout and after our time. The management should definitely send this person to some hospitality training etc.Definitely need to change the filtered coffee that was provided. It didnt taste well at all.I was promised by the reception thay they will send some instant coffee to the room but was never sent.Overall, nice environment around the hotel, nicely decorated, and hotel management should put a little focus on people aspect too as they can make a difference.

I recommend to book your flight via LGW and hotel at crown plaza. It's less crowded and quiet whenever touring London. The location of the hotel is 30 minutes away by bus from London Gatwick airport costs 1 gbp or by airport taxi costs 28 gbp. The shopping mall and restaurants are 10 minutes walk. Furthermore, you can book tours via klook (Windsor castle, Stonehenge, Oxford) where meeting place would be in Victoria couch station. You can spend your whole day touring downtown london via city sightseeing bus and sleep peaceful at crown plaza. The international breakfast buffet is served until 10am. You can sit and meet people from airline industry, student and local tourists. Mr. Krisha and Ms. Diana were friendly and helpful. I will definitely go back here.Nearby activities: Cinema, bowling, arcade, shopping mallSafety: SafeWalkability: 10 minutes from restaurant and grocery store

This was my 2nd visit. The buffet breakfast was pretty decent. Staff were courteous, polite and professional, especially Ms.Floriana and Mr.Vincent at the restaurant. Rooms are clean, with basic tea/ coffee amenities. They even had complimentary chocolate and Biscoff. I ordered room service which was delivered in a reasonable amount of time. The food was quite good. Overall, friendly staff. I do hope your staff get the recognition they deserve.Rooms: Rooms are small but spacious enough. Clean. My 2nd visit, the room had an odd setting where the amenities were placed behind the TV due to space restrictions. Rooms are mostly quiet, except for the occasional cleaning in the corridor that can be heard.Safety: Pretty safe. Rooms have a double lock, and a safety chain. Area is a residential one with row houses at the back and side of the hotel.

My recent stay at Crowne Plaza Crawley was thoroughly enjoyable. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was comfortable and well-maintained, providing a peaceful retreat after a long day. The highlight for me was the breakfast - a delicious spread with plenty of options to choose from, setting the perfect tone for the day ahead. Overall, I highly recommend Crowne Plaza Crawley for a pleasant and satisfying stay.

After spending 14 hours on a plane, I was exhausted and looking forward catching up on some deprived sleep at the hotel. I was surprised if not shocked to have to pay almost £30 for a three and half mile trip to the hotel. Knowing I would have to return the the airport again the following day.Check in was fine, reception were very helpful and busy. The rooms are a bit of a maze to find and indeed at breakfast I got lost trying to find reception. The club room was fine, clean and spotless. The bed was comfortable and I fell into a deep sleep very quickly, only to be startled by the fire alarm ringing at 11.30pm and again a short while later. I got dressed ready to evacuate but realised nobody else near by were in the corridor. I then decided to phone reception to ask what the problem was , only to be told it was caused by a leak! By this time my heart is still pounding out of sinc with the shock of being awoken. I never really got back to sleep and must have been one of the first people down for breakfast at 06.00am. Breakfast was alright but for TINNED peaches and pineapple.Reception ordered me a taxi, which turned out to be £10 cheaper than my last journey. When I complained about the fire arlarm the receptionist gave me a chocolate bar, hardly compensation!

Internally well decorated and clean, fairly posh looking lobby and hall to dinning area.Have to pay parking at £12 per night, which is annoying and an extra cost, but plenty of spaces.Decent room, clean and tidy.Nice buffet options for an evening meal at £20 which isn't bad. Breakfast is included, its busy lots of airport / cabin crew so tables soon get taken up.Reasonably located
