We can't thank Cottesmore enough for making our wedding so perfect!It was the best day of our lives and our friends and family couldn't have enjoyed themselves more!The venue is flawless, the staff were so impressive and the food is fantastic!My only wish is that we could do it all over again.Thank you Cottesmore. We will be eternally grateful!I'll send the professional photos once I have them.

Beautiful Golf Club with well appointed rooms which are value for money.Didn't play golf but had a really good dinner in the restaurant.Breakfast food great,menu large but service let down by : 1. One member of the restaurant team who must have got out of bed on the wrong side, who seemed to see us as an annoyance.2. Staff carrying clean cups and glassware to the bar and restaurant tables with their fingers inside them ....why not use a tray?

This place is fantastic. We stayed here for a wedding and the wedding day itself was outstanding, the staff were helpful and friendly and the food was incredible! They were especially good at catering for people with intolerances (there was a few and everyone was delighted with what they prepared for them) the rooms were lovely and very clean. Breakfast was great, again good options for all and nothing seems too much for them to do. The whole thing was very relaxing in a stunning location and I don't have anything bad to say. Thanks to all the staff and chefs for making it a very pleasant stay.

The hotel looks lovely, however having an issue regarding faulty equipment in the room making noise all night, completely ignored by the General Manager and passed on to staff that shrugged off the problem would make me not recommend Cottesmore. Some empathy goes a long way.

The clubhouse is great. Clean & tidy, great food and friendly staff. Highly recommend the pizza. The golf course is great value for money, cheap even, especially considering the condition. Didn?t stay in the hotel but the rooms from afar looked great. The spa is small but has everything you need, especially for a visitor. View down 18 from the bar is class.

I came for a solo 2 night spa break & was very impressed with the facilities, attentiveness of staff & food choices. The hotel is surrounded by the most beautiful grounds, perfect if you?re wanting to be out in nature. My room was spacious, but cosy, very clean & had everything I could need. When using the bath tub, I noticed it had a leak & when contacting reception they went out of their way to fix this immediately for me - thank you Kerry & Tony. All staff during my stay were polite, professional & very helpful. Food choices for dinner were great & I was impressed with the quality. Breakfast wasn?t as great, but still better than most. I would say this is perfect for couples, solo travellers wanting some relaxation & girls trips. I did not experience the golf side of the hotel, however, it seems to be a popular place for it. I wouldn?t recommend this place for families/young children. The spa was lovely. Jacuzzi wasn?t working but that didn?t really phase me. I had two treatments from the beauty salon, both blissful & the therapist was very accommodating & professional yet very down to earth. Would certainly visit again, for the price it?s great value for money.

The hotel had a weddings which we were not told about and didn?t expect mid week which meant that a lot of the hotel was off limits to other guests. We were rung 2 days before to tell us that the pool would be closed but due to other commitments we couldn?t rearrange. The jacuzzi was very foamy and seemed unclean and there were no lockers to store your belongings while having treatments and we had to walk across a car park in our robes to get to the health centre. The room was ok but we had to keep the curtains closed as a golf lesson was going on outside our window when we got up in the morning. The bed was 2 singles pushed together which was very uncomfortable and drifted during the night. Was not the relaxing stay at all

Very nice hotel and complex, for the money I was very impressed. Room was lovely and clean, grounds and golf course were beautiful with lovely views.Room was quite small and the over bath shower was actually quite difficult to use due to its size.Didn?t manage to use the spa so no idea if that is any good.

We celebrated a wedding at this venue recently and left disappointed. The staff were unhelpful, miserable and poorly trained. They seemed unaware of the etiquette of food service at a wedding, and no check back was made, as if there had been they would have known we were lacking condiments, horseradish and mustard for the beef dinner. My food was cold when delivered and the vegetables were raw. The starter salad was mushy, the cheesecake was ok, but that I suspect was bought in. The breakfast was not much better with the eggs Benedict lacking a decent amount of ham, and the sauce being very thick and unappetising. Overall a disappointing experience.

Choosing Cottesmore Hotel, Golf and Country Club as our wedding reception venue was a no brainer.We were fortunate to have sunshine on our wedding day. The atmosphere was perfect as the windows allowed the whole venue to be filled with light. However we were confident that whatever the weather, the venue still would have been beautiful! The barn style room, with its beams provided character alongside the clean and modern decor. The courtyard provided the perfect spot for our guests to sip their drinks in the sunshine.Julie and Jackie from the events team made the process of wedding planning so smooth. They promptly answered every question we had via email and in person at our pre-wedding meeting. All of the staff working throughout our wedding were polite, professional and everything ran like clockwork.Our guests commented on the high standard of the food throughout the evening and Cottesmore was able to cater to a variety of dietary requirements.Importantly Cottesmore had ample space to accommodate all of our guests (approximately 130 in the day and 160 in the evening). The rooms at the hotel were beautiful and allowed guests to stay on site.We couldn?t recommend Cottesmore Hotel, Golf and Country Club enough as a wedding venue!
