Visited shop today after being let down and didn't want a very disappointed nearly 6 year old!
Unfortunately I didn't get any names, but the woman that served me was the supervisor. We were early and seeing that it was my Daughter's first time she suggested we do both at the same time, but that her manager was on break and could we come back. We were early so didn't have an issue. She explained all the different metal types and pricing and had a lovely chat with my Daughter despite it being busy.
We went and came back and in light of all the negative reviews watched her like a hawk when she was doing all the prep...would like to say now that Claire's use the same Studex that the (reputable and recommended tattooist we were supposed to go to) used.
The whole time she was talking to my Daughter explaining the process. The Assistant Manager then came out to assist and all was done in a split second.
Barely a flinch, a very happy girl and the same cost with the recommended metal as the tattooist.
Recovery/healing is yet to be seen but my experience with the shop was extremely positive and the staff were absolutely wonderful.
Sometimes people only leave reviews to moan, here's to a happy positive one!

Horrible service! We are from Brighton but went here yesterday for the first time. We always have the best and friendly staff in the Brighton store. But in the Crawley store the staff were so rude! Both the staff talked very loudly about their private life and didnt care about the customers. The lady in her 50s-60s who works there was just so rude and kept telling my little daughter off for touching items! But this place is for little ones as well isnt it? Why shouldnt children be allowed touching? She kept staring at us as if we are thieves and didnt move her eyes from us. My niece said by mistake that she will pay cash but later said sorry I am going to pay card. She told my niece off for this and kept confronting my niece in a very bad voice by saying ?but you said you are paying cash?. I had to step in and tell her that it shouldnt be hard to just take card. The lady was just really rude and made us feel very uncomfortable and not welcome at all! Customer service and attitude here is horrible I dont think she likes working there.

Lovely costumer service did my nose piercing quick and had patience to chose the right placement, but I think the company need to lower the price at the piercings x!

I love Claire?s but the experience I have had today and two weeks ago was pathetic. I always shop from Claire?s for my imitation jewellery so wanted to get my 2yr old daughter?s ears pierced. Initially when I wanted to book an appointment the staff member snapped and was so rude and said we can?t book appointments please ring us every morning to check if we have enough staff. Then today when it was finally our appointment the same staff member again was very rude and said to come at the exact time of appointment and wasn?t ready to answer our questions. During the appointment they didn?t seem bothered to help us and just kept saying if my daughter cries we can?t pierce and she said it several times. I have always received some amazing customer service bearing in mind I work in retail too but have never treated someone the way I have been treated twice. Some of the staff are brilliant but the two staff today at the Crawley County Mall store were unhelpful and rude to us.

Not very good very over price and the ear rings are way to short and fell out within a couple of hours. Would not recommend this place at all your best off going somewhere else what a waste of money.

Claires Crawley- very over priced for childs tiny ear rings. Staff unhelpful unfriendly and didn't seem bothered atall. Will go elsewhere in future

Amazing customer service. Lady was amazing who was alone in the shop but was handling everything amazingly. She appeared to be very busy but she didn't let the workload affect her customer service at all.

got my nose pierced here today. thank you so much to the person that pierced me. it was so professionally done and they were very friendly, i am extremely happy with the results. would totally recommend it.

the piercing gun there has been in use for over 3 years,
it has never been sterilised, only wiped over with antiseptic wipes,
it has been used on THOUSANDS of people.
today I saw it being used on a baby only a few weeks old

Fantastic experience , my sister had her ears pierced here she was very excited , Claire the member of staff went through all the procedures and after care with Us , had a laugh and giggle while she worked such a lovely welcoming atmosphere.\\n\\nThanks Claire's for the lovely service
