Staff were fantastic and Gina went out of her way to get a room ready for an early check in so we could get ready for a nearby wedding.
The room itself was basic but clean as was the bathroom and the bed was comfortable.
The room was very warm and there's no air-conditioning, but there was a window to open a bit and a fan provided which made it comfortable enough.
Great location and convenient free parking in an underground carpark next to the hotel.

Worst hotel experience ever. Booked it for its location and other reviews. Don't understand all the positive reviews. Windows only open a Crack so it was beastly hot. Some staff unresponsive. Took 2 days to get extra pillows needed for health reasons. No wash clothes or housekeeping for our long stay. Only one outlet and no USB ports. Bed has hard wire frame under the sheet.

The staff and the room were lovely. Room was very clean. Parking was just next door and no cost involved. When we checked out they allowed us to have a free day in the car park as we did some sight seeing. The only issue we had was the lack of air conditioning. Unfortunately it was one of the hottest days in recent memory and with no air conditioning the room was as so warm. A fan was provided but it simply wasn?t enough.

This is my first time in Chichester, staying at the Travelodge was much better than I had expected. I have to say the team are delightful, Gina who checked us in gave us all the important points and was very welcoming.
It was a little disappointing to learn the rooms don?t have A/C but we were given a fan. And whilst there is no breakfast buffet, the breakfast to go option is good value and good quality.
The housekeeping team are great too, all our linen, coffee, and bins were attended to whilst we were out during the days.

Has the charm of a crumbling car park and overcrowded A&E, with urine-scented, marijuana-filled corridors, taped-up lifts, and stifling rooms with window restrictors so tight even a dust mite couldn?t escape ? all for a ridiculous price

Excellent Service from Danielle at Travelodge Chichester Central
I just wanted to highlight the outstanding service I received from Danielle during my recent stay. From the moment I arrived, she was welcoming, professional, and genuinely helpful. She went out of her way to ensure everything was smooth and stress-free ? a rare level of attentiveness that really stood out.
Whether it was helping with local recommendations or just her friendly, approachable manner at reception, Danielle made a real difference to the overall experience. She?s a credit to the Travelodge team, and I hope her efforts are recognised.
Highly recommend this location ? and if Danielle is on shift, you?re in good hands.

One of the worst hotel experiences I?ve ever had globally.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Stayed 5 nights for business and it was an ordeal from start to finish. The room had no ventilation, no air conditioning, and only a tiny, dust-clogged fan struggling against indoor temperatures around 30°C, while it was 25°C during the day and 17°C at night outside. Impossible to breathe, let alone rest.
The mattress was uncomfortable, the pillow was equally bad, making any restful sleep out of the question.
This was not just disappointing. It was unacceptable. I?ve stayed in hotels across countries and this ranks among the absolute worst.
Strongly recommend avoiding this place, especially if you care about sleep, comfort, or basic hygiene.

Staff and room were fine, but the ventilation was practically zero, window only opened a fraction and the fan was practically useless. Extremely hot in the room and very uncomfortable.
We will never use a Travel Lodge again after this experience

Good luck sleeping here if it's anything over 15°C. Rooms are all an absolute sauna, completely unable to sleep regardless of one extra fan they gave us after two hours.
I know windows are supposed to be secure but what on earth is this...
Free WiFi for 30 minutes?! Then you have to pay on the already expensive price of the oven room. Mobile data? Good luck, absolutely no signal anywhere on multiple networks. 4g the moment you step outside.
