A really good shop with plenty of books and activities for kids. Prices are very reasonable, and it?s a great place to pick up gift bags or birthday presents ahead of the school year. Lots of choice and great value ? definitely recommend!

I would like to commend a member of your staff please. Normally when I go into a shop and ask where something is I get vague directions, a hand pointing in a general direction and a bored look. But today when I asked if they sold cutting mats for crafts, the lady on till actually took me to where they were, she explained the two different sizes and she smiled. Absolutely fantastic customer service! Checking my receipt the lady who helped and served me was Katie-Louise. Well done her and thank you!

Bought some books for my granddaughter today, I was asked if I wanted a bag for £1 which I declined and with that the 2 girls that were serving started talking to each other and laughing which I found very rude and awful customer service

None disabled friendly shop!
Went into the works in Chichester for the 1st time today. I am in a electric powerchair. And utterly shocked that half your shop is up steps which im unable to access. I wanted to buy some Christmas craft stuff and look for presents but left, also the shop is not wheelchair friendly with how close everything is and struggling to get round corners without knocking stuff down.

This is a small store but its a great place to shop for books, stationery, craft items, etc. I personally love The Works and always pop in as I usually always find good bargains. They have a big collection of books for both adults and children. You may not be able to find a specific book you're looking for at all times but you will find lots of really good books at unbeatable prices. I highly recommemd this shop.

Great place for stationary. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable. Notebooks here start from around £2 - very affordable.

This is very much a discount shop - you can't go in looking for a particular book, but there are some very good books at excellent prices along with stationary etc.
