Absolute disaster. This business is absolutely rife with issues and their practice is bordering on medical negligence.My repeat prescription has been a disaster every time, I have tried being polite and patient but they are now resorting to just lying to me and my relatives about what I have ordered the last time I was there. I order sensors and insulin a month in advance or 2 weeks and when me or a relative rocks up to retrieve them?. shock horror?. Little or none of the sensors I ordered for my diabetes are in and a fraction of the insulin I need to make it by a month. I?m tired of hearing of all the mystery ?supply issues? that absolutely no pharmacy in any other British city seems to suffer from. They need to wake up and stop treating peoples medical conditions like a minor inconvenience and start understanding the stress and negative impact this can have on a patients mental health.Also I work in London in the week and have to send my parents to collect as they don?t open on weekends. Do yourselves a favour and go else where.

Recently been getting my prescriptions here and it's always ready on time as I make sure I order my prescription 7 working days before I run out. Very lovely staff and counter assistant too!

If summersdale pharmacy was not next door to a doctors surgery I do not believe it would still be operating.I cannot believe how rude and uninterested the staff were when I made a simple enquiry over the phone.Thankfully there are plenty of other pharmacy's in Chichester so I will not have to encounter such poor social skills again.

I have been here twice since my nearest pharmacy closed down. Both times were to collect repeat prescriptions ordered through nhs app. Both times long queues outside door and both times unable to find my order. Whikst waiting 20 minutes only 2 of the customers served got their prescriptions, others told to come back later or another day or like mine couldn't be found. This despite 6 staff in pharmacy.

Have used this pharmacy for years and it has become terrible with appalling customer service. Put my sons prescription in for five days. Went to collect and was told to come back in 15 mins. Returned and was told it hasn't come in. They don't know when it will come in, cannot ring suppliers, cannot call me when it does arrive. Asked if they could stock some as this has happened a few times when I have needed a repeat. Was told no they can't as it will expire. Asked what they could do and they said nothing go somewhere else! Went to a different pharmacy, they ordered it for me and was delivered the next day and the pharmacist explained she has put in another order so they will have some in stock in the future. Explained what this pharmacy said, she said it was rubbish and showed me the expiry date on the medicine of Dec 2025! The staff here are either too busy or just can't be bothered. Feel very sad for the vulnerable and elderly that do not have the ability to go elsewhere. Really terrible attitude from the pharmacist that served me

Terrible customer service, personally witnessed them verbally abuse a customer and when the customer spoke back in defence they were kicked out and told never to come back. I would NEVER give this pharmacy my business? ever.

I have booked my sister in for her ears to be syringed next week and I rang today to confirm the price after reading the below review, and it is definitely NOT £80 per ear, it is £80 for both ears, which from my research is very competitive! Perhaps the reviewer below heard incorrectly due to wax blockage. EEEEEK that?s a bit embarrassing! As a member of the NHS myself, I think it true to say pharmacies have been one of the only accessible sectors throughout the whole of this dreadful pandemic. When Drs dramatically minimized face to face appointments and went online, when all dental appointments were cancelled, Pharmacies were still plodding on, best they could, and in fairness to Summersdale, their store is very narrow, the fact they are ?behaving in the identical way they were in the height of lock-down? actually is a credit to the importance they put on patients wellbeing. I guess the Onslow?s of the world will never get over the fact that they weren?t invited to Hyacinth Bouquets tea party, but the fact Chichester has such a vast range of pharmacies allows one, to find a store that is their cup of tea. I personally have witnessed the rudeness that has been directed to the staff and as a nurse, I actually had to intervene and tell a customer they were being very out of line, however, the counter staff remained calm, calmer than I was! It is a sad turn of affairs when staff that are trying their hardest have to endure abuse in their workplace, unnecessary rudeness, swearing and shouting by customers that are actually not even listening to solutions, the fact the staff remained so calm showed me that they were well versed in such behavior. I was and am shocked and saddened by this. I am sorry that people find it easier to complain than to appreciate, I thank you Summerdale. I am always grateful for your friendly service, and the care you offered to myself, and members of my family, you have gone out of your way on many an occasion, keep up the great work. I will never have anything but positive words to say about you all.

If I could rate this pharmacy a 0 I would absolutely disgusting customer service , my repeat prescription ( with my usual medication I?ve been in for years I may add) was put in on Monday and went to collect on Friday to be told they didn?t have have it and apparently I should wait 7 days for my repeat to be processed when it states on the reverse it?s 3 working days , after a lot of fuss they gave me 2 of my items but my other 2 items I they didn?t have and the other they could only give me an emergency 7 day supply I was then told to return on Tuesday ( today to collect , my husband went in today to collect as I work at the hospital til 6pm and was served by a very disgustingly rude lady who told my husband that I had already had my full prescription to which I hadn?t when my husband explained what had happen she then proceeded to call my husband a liar this of course made my husband very angry and he demanded an apology to which the pharmacist came over and told my husband they didn?t have my prescription and was told to leave and not return , upon leaving the pharmacist ran out after my husband and gave him my repeat prescription form and said take this else where ( I thought they never had it ???? ) I will be putting in an official complaint as this is disgusting behaviour, and I will be getting my repeats sent to another pharmacy . AVOID THIS PHARMACY AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!

Have been using this Pharmacy for years as its attached to my Doctors Surgery. Definitely changed in the last few years. Opening hours are rubbish. Not open on a Sat anymore, doesn't open for an hour after the surgery opens?! Required Prescriptions apparently have to be emailed through! They take days to prepare a prescription, unless hopefully you have a 'batch'. Most of the staff are very pleasant, just dont think it is being run very efficiently.

Very pleasant and hard working staff. I think some of the posters below are not allowing sufficient time from when they order their prescriptions from their surgeries to collecting the prescription from the pharmacy (they are not the same organisation).
