We went to purchase a set of pans that were on the shelf with the price of £49. When we tried to pay (after queuing for some time!) the price came up as £100. On checking the shelf price attached to the shelf we were told it was ?Mays? price and had doubled in price from then (it?s now only 1st August). There was another shelf with the £100 same set but surely this was still Mays stock and advertised at the reduced price! The cashier was unhelpful, another cashier left another till to answer a personal mobile call and was heard saying ?sorry love I?m just having a moment?! We left all our items without buying anything. Poor show Robert Dyas and extremely unprofessional staff! We won?t be returning.

Sarah in the Chichester store went above and beyond to ensure that me and my boyfriend walked out with the product we wanted. Cant recommend enough!!

Went to ask if they had a box I could send my PC monitor safely in the post to a friend as I fled an abusive relationship quickly and didn?t have the original box. I had already asked everywhere else in Chichester and they did not have a suitable sized box, but recommended I ask there.I thought okay, I will just ask. The worst is they don?t have anything which may be possible considering my previous luck. The guy at the register was incredibly rude to me when I asked and publicly mocked me, laughing at and humiliating me, ?this lady is asking for a BOX for her monitor!? Whilst it might have been a strange request, several places I enquired before suggested I ask at Robert Dyas, so it was clearly a place they thought they may have some boxes I could pay for.It was unnecessary to be so rude and mocking, especially publicly. This is beyond terrible customer service and I was so humiliated I will never go there again. I hope the staff here have a bit more compassion in the way they deal with questions even if they deem them ?stupid?.

Ordered and paid for a flask online to collect from the Chichester store as a Christmas present. Received an email on 17th Dec to say my item was ready for collection. Arrived at the store today to be told by the Store Manager Julie that my item had already been collected. When I assured her I had not already collected my flask I was then rudely told that I had not collected my item in the 7 day window which is stipulated on the collections email and my flask had subsequently been returned to the warehouse. Even someone with basic mathematical skills could calculate the 7 day window had not yet expired. After several further store searches I was eventually told that it is unlikely my item had ever actually arrived and as there was only 1 flask remaining in the entire business the best they could offer me was a refund. This infuriated me as surely my flask was booked in as received at store in order to generate the collection email? Clearly my paid for flask had actually been given to another customer without the requested proof of purchase and ID that the collection email stipulates. Rather than accept responsibility and apologise for the error I was made to feel I was at fault. Really poor customer service and a lack of ownership from the store manager. I shall be using Amazon in future, who offer a much better service, poor show Robert Dyas!

I had a wonderful experience at the Chichester branch today. The weather was foul, I was soaked to the skin, it was busy and three men who worked there were exceptionally helpful.Firstly one went up to the storage for an eye mask. The other two were serving at the till , picked up items for me, helped me pack my bags and were really lovely. It?s unusual to have service like this and I found it very emotional, it makes me want to return to this store. The store was packed full of goods you could quite clearly see they were trying their best to get stock out, then they have people like me keep asking questions. No one sighed, no one gave me the impression I was interfering with the task to hand, they just helped. I?m afraid I did not take their names but thank you the three in question on Monday 6th December around 1.50 ish.

I had a list of various items to purchase in the Chichester store;the staff were so very helpful in not only finding the products I needed but gave me information on how to use . I also had to collect a pre order which was a large deckchair. They kindly carried it to my car and put the heavy item into my car.Nothing was too much trouble.

Had all the household bits we needed, and prices are pretty reasonable. Parts of the store were quite narrow which made getting around with to the buggy quite difficult.

Just called to ask if they had an AV to HDMI adaptor in stock and the obnoxious woman said no. However it says they?re in stock on the website. How very helpful.
