I tried to get a security tag removed from a suit I had brought at the hedge end branch. After phoning customer services I was told I could have this done if the labels were intact .One assistant even agreed to remove it for me after showing the bank app and the transaction. Then she returned with a jobs worth called Karen ( ironic ?) she told me I wasn't able to have the tag removed,she was absolutely horrendous in her handling of the situation and was in no way helpful .My daughters wedding was ruined down to this woman.If you go to this shop avoid this woman.

Tracy did a bra fitting for me and my friend today and made us feel so comfortable. She knew exactly what she was doing and didn?t take to long at all. Great experience!

Went into M&S cafe at lunchtime today and found it to be strangely quiet. Bought two drinks and two cheese toastie thingies and waited and waited...waited.... sipping drinks until they were past cold...... nothing for more than half an hour! Unfortunately didn't get a receipt so couldn't be bothered to argue for a refund on receiving a muted apology at the till. Hindsight should have told me all was not well, given everywhere apart from M&S was packed at 1pm! So wasted some money on food and didn't even enjoy the drinks, by trying to eek them out for so long! Obviously no supervision or management going on here, as they are completely oblivious to the vanishing footfall.

Very expensive food , but some of its worth it , gets very busy , staff are ok have come across some that don't want to help you .

Typical M&S shop with friendly, knowledgeable staff who typically are helpful.Accessibility - I use an electric wheelchair and most of the store is easy to navigate with wide aisles and well-positioned counters, etc.However, the changing rooms are small and you can't close the curtains if you are in a wheelchair - there is a larger changing room which features a folding wall chair, more space, lower hooks and lower mirrors etc, but if this is in use you've no choice but to either strip off in the hallway or not have the option to try on clothes!The shoe section is a little tight on space and difficult to navigate in a larger wheelchair.There's no lowered counter/till point.

Came here for lunch. It was very busy. Tried to get a table but was heckled by staff from across the room and told you can't have a table until you get food. If this is the case why not clearly display this on a sign? Why not have member of staff managing the queue and helping customers? I have an elderly relative who would not be able to wait in the extremely slow queue so we will no longer be able to dine here. Very unprofessional behavior from staff.

WWW (What Went Well) We were sheltered from the rain. EBI (Even Better If) They actually sold what they say they sell on the menu They didn?t expect you to pay for items that are not available Summary We have dined in M&S Cafe?s many times over the years, but the Chichester cafe (our local branch) is the worst experience of them all and we will not be wasting our time and money there again. I have noticed on the last few occasions, including this one, that they often don?t have available food that is advertised in bold letters on the menu above the tills, especially hot food. They don?t tell you this until you arrive at the front of the queue, only to be told that multiple items are not available, so you end up scratching around for a sandwich from the fridge, with other frustrated customers behind you in the queue. The chicken ciabatta was not available, so I asked for the poached egg and mashed avocado. I was informed that it wasn?t available either, so I politely enquired as to the possibility of poached egg on toast. The nice till lady went in the kitchen to ask and returned to apologetically inform me that I could have it, but only if I also paid for the non-available avocado! Yes, I know?unbelievable, as Victor Meldrew would say. At that point I grabbed a sandwich from the fridge and would have left immediately, but for the fact that it was pouring down outside.

It was a hot day and there was no air conditioning, when we asked staff why it was not on we were told if you find out then let us know. So basically the staff cannot request the air conditioning to be turned on. Totally ridiculous, a very uncomfortable experience.

Extremely rude woman working on self service checkouts. 0 customer service level. AVOID this store at all costs. I left my purchase there rather than deal with the unprofessionalism. Save yourself the headache
