Having had a rough day I didn't expect much but Laura who was working in the Chichester branch of Hotel Chocolat was absolutely amazing! She was kind and patient giving every customer her undivided attention while not neglecting anyone. She talked to me about different parings and made recommendations based on what I said, even when I was umming and ahhing she was patient and continued to help in a friendly manor. Truly Excellent customer service.

Really good shop when buying chocolate. Excellent selection and the staff were really friendly and helpful. It is quite expensive but nice for gifts or a treat every once in a while.

Went in to use my £5 birthday voucher on 17/02/2022, the lady who served me was amazing! Sorry I didn't catch her name but she had amazing green hair, but she was so friendly and persuaded me to get a few things which I have to say doesn't normally happen! so polite and friendly.

A cosy smaller store in the heart of Chichester. Excellent customer service from friendly and knowledgeable staff. The chocolate is rather good too!

There is no denying it, these chocolates are of the best quality! As a continental customer, I am used to refined chocolates and they come up to my exacting standard! I am particularly fond of a hot chocolate drink and the variety sachet box which accompanied my new velvetiser (birthday present) were a great way to be introduced to different flavours.As for the machine itself, the drink isn't quite hot enough for my liking but I just simply warm my cup beforehand.The reason why I dropped a star is that I found the website quite difficult to navigate through and I certainly couldn't register the machine with the code given in the package. I had to phone and even that took a good 20 mns... When I came to order on line, to redeem my "welcome voucher", the 70% dark sachets were not available. Having said all that, when they came back and I put my order through, it was straight forward and it arrived within 48 hours. I would hope that those glitches were due to the pandemic and the business was not able to run smoothly. So now, I feel a bit mean to have dropped a star!
